Comment utiliser les services de santé ?En tant que patient, vous allez être dirigé vers un médecin généraliste (médecin de famille ou clinique sans RDV). Par la suite, si vous en avez besoin, c’est votre médecin généraliste qui vous dirigera vers les professions spécialisées. Il est donc fonda-mental pour vous de trouver un médecin en qui vous avez confiance, qui vous connaisse et fasse un suivi de fond.

La couverture santé en Colombie-BritanniqueLe MSP ou “Medical Service Plan” est un système de couverture universelle. Selon vos revenus et votre situation familiale, différentes catégories s’appliqueront. Pour vous inscrire au MSP, vous devez envoyer les documents papier ou faire la demande en ligne dès votre arrivée, sur resosante.ca, rubrique “S’inscrire au MSP”, vous retrouvez toutes les démarches à suivre.

“Soyez acteur de votre santé en français !”Ces dernières années, le système de soins de santé de la Colombie-Britannique et du reste du Canada a dû faire face à des pressions de plus en plus fortes : les coûts, les demandes de services et la population augmentent, et les nouvelles technologies génèrent de nouvelles demandes de financement. Les gouvernements provinciaux mettent tout en œuvre pour faire face à ces changements. Les soins de santé sont la dépense publique la plus importante de la Colombie-Britannique - une dépense qui représente plus du tiers du budget total de la province. En tant que bénéficiaire du régime de soins médicaux, vous jouez un rôle très important dans le maintien d’un système de soins de santé performant et réactif en Colombie-Britannique !En vous inscrivant à l’infolettre et en suivant notre page Facebook RésoSanté Colombie-Britannique, vous bénéficiez d’ateliers et de conseils en français et vous rendez notre communauté plus visible. Nos actions pour les aînés

Nous avons travaillé avec la Régie de Santé de Fraser pour faire traduire et adapter 4 programmes de prévention de chutes pour les aînés. Nous avons également créé un programme d’Ambassadeurs de prévention des chutes afin de promouvoir ces programmes.

Nos actions pour les jeunes

Depuis 2 ans, nous travaillons avec le Conseil Jeunesse Francophone de C.-B. dans plusieurs écoles pour mettre en place des initiatives santé dans le cadre du projet Écoles en Santé.

Nous croyons que les jeunes peuvent être acteurs de leur santé et nous les aidons à faire les bons choix !

Nous mettons à disposition gratuitement ce Répertoire des professionnel.les de santé parlant français en ligne ! Nous améliorons continuellement ce service qui offre de la visibilité dans la communauté et valorise ces professionnel.les bilingues. Nous avons offert une formation à l’utilisation des médias sociaux. Nous faisons des entrevues avec des professionnel.les francophones qui souhaitent mettre en avant leur expertise en français.
