Considering Subha/Asubha Yoga influences, the Sun has 184 virupas

of Subha influences, Jupiter 99, and Venus 97, all great, allowing the

Karmasiddha yoga to flourish smoothly and easily.

Khadga Yoga

In the horoscope of

actor/comedian John Belushi, the 9th

lord Sun is in the 2nd, the 2nd lord

Saturn is in the 9th, and the lagna lord

Jupiter is in an angle forming Khadga

Yoga. Khadga is a sword, and JohnBelushi initiated his career success

playing a Samurai with a sword. His

successful period was the entirety of

the Sun dasa, one of the Khadga Yoga

forming planets, directly after which he died. Qualifying the yoga, the Sun is

exalted in the navamsa, joined with one benefic, Mercury, who is exalted in

the navamsa, and an exalted Mars. Saturn also aspects the Sun, but since

Saturn is one of the Khadga Yoga forming planets it cannot harm the

Khadga Yoga. Saturn is afflicted by the rasi aspects of Rahu and Ketu,

becoming, therefore, the worst of the Khadga Yoga forming planets,

though the rasi aspects of exalted Mars, the Sun who is exalted in the

navamsa, and Mercury support Saturn in giving significant results. Jupiter is

reasonabley well disposed by being in its own rasi and with one benefic,

Venus, though suffering one great affliction by joining the malefic Moon,

who is also the 8th lord. The most auspicious planet forming the KhadgaYoga the Sun, who is also forming a powerful

raja yoga by being one of the two trine lords

joined with angular lord Mercury, therefore,

the Sun dasa was his most successful. The

philosophical qualities of Khadga Yoga as

given in the classical texts do not seem to

match with what we apparently know of JohnBelushi, which is the result of the 8th lord,

who is a natural malefic as well, joining

Jupiter.
