ZARAUTZLa mer embrasse Zarautz durant deux kilomètres avec sa plage de sable fin (la plus longue du Pays Basque espagnol), où se reproduit la dichotomie entre la vie urbaine – la promenade maritime avec ses sculptures en plein air et ses restau-rants et cafétérias face à la mer- et la nature à l’état pur, avec son biotope protégé. L’une des villes côtières par excellence du Pays Basque espagnol, en constante ébullition et toujours pleine d’animation grâce à son riche patrimoine, ses com-merces, ses sports aquatiques, ses rues piétonnes et ses musées.

Plage et promenade maritimeProfiter de la brise marine, se rafraîchir dans l’eau, se détendre sur le sable et marcher en laissant les vagues nous caresser les chevilles, acquièrent une signification spéciale sur la plage de Zarautz. Deux kilomètres de long et des sculptures qui se succèdent d’un bout à l’autre de la promenade maritime im-priment à cet espace une forte personnalité et font de la ville une excellente destination accessible.

The sea stretches along Zarautz for two kilometres of its beach with fine sand (it is the largest in the Basque Country), where it reproduces the dichotomy between urban – the boardwalk with its outdoor sculptures, restaurants and cafes on the sea – and pure nature with its protected biotope. Zarautz is one of the coastal villages par excellence in Euskadi, where its rich heritage, trade, water sports, pedestrian streets and museums keep it at the boiling point.

Beach and BoardwalkEnjoying the sea breeze, cooling off in the water, relaxing on the sand and walking through the caress of waves on your ankles are all done in a special way on the beach in Zarautz. Two kilometres long, and with sculptures, the boardwalk gives this space its uniqueness and makes the town an excellent, accessible destination.

Au sud de la province d’Álava, la Rioja Alavesa est une contrée de 300 km2 protégée au sud par l’Èbre et au nord par l’imposante cordillère de Cantabrie, où les vignes se cultivent depuis le temps des Romains.

La Rioja Alavesa, avec une population de 12.000 habitants, comprend 15 communes, 4 assemblées administratives et 4 autres noyaux de population. Un territoire où l’on peut localiser près de 300 caves et où la culture du vin est palpable dans chaque recoin ; un territoire où les habitants savent que la convivialité, l’hospitalité et l’accueil sont un mode de vie.
