For example, if we have a time of 5 minutes for the first full lap, the 80% time will be fixed to 4 minutes.

Every time that the leader of the race passes the 80% zone (except on his final lap), a stop watch is started and all riders passing the 80% zone more than 4 minutes behind the leader will be withdrawn from the race.

� Except for lapped riders, the 80% rule does not apply when the race leader is on his final lap (meaning when the leader passes the 80% zone to finish).

� Withdrawn riders according to the 80% rule will still appear in the results, please use the « lapped or pulled riders form » to note down the precise order that they were withdrawn (PCP-Timing-SEC).
