would eliminate this d ifficulty . It was agreed that the Y .M .C .A , be allowed to erect this partition.

After considerable discussion it was agreed that Mr. Basner and Mrs. Ballinger be asked to investigate into the probable number of soldiers requiring faci­lities for a Soldiers* Rost Room in the City.

MILEAGE ALLOYJANCE: The Acting Secretary submitted a reportrelating to the use of his car. After some discussion the matter was'referred to a Sub-Committee consisting of Messrs. D*M. Denalane, A. Bovet, L .C . Koza and J.M . Pim.

COST OF LIVING ALLOWANCE: The question of Cost of Living" "Allowance-was’ deferred" to the next Executive Committee,

when the Hon. Treasurer would probably be present.

GENERAL: Mr. Setlogolo suggested that African members ofthe Committee be convened to arrange the programmes for the forthcoming shows promoted by the Bantu Men*s Social Centre.

The meeting terminated at 6 .3 0 . p.m.
