A listing of four-letter location indicators and, where available, corresponding three-character International Air Transport Association (IATA) location identifier codes for geographical locations throughout the world, and a list of the addresses of centres in charge of flight information regions (FIR) and/or upper flight information regions (UIR).

The designators consist of: a) three-letter designators for use on the international aeronautical telecommunication service and for aircraft identification by air traffic control (ATC); and b) telephony designators for aircraft operating agencies and for authorities and services operating aircraft, which may be used as appropriate.

The First Edition of the Manual on Space Weather in Support of International Air Navigation is published in response to the introduction of provisions related to the dissemination of information on space weather to international air navigation as part of Amendment 78 to Annex 3 – Meteorological Service for International Air Navigation, applicable 8 November 2018.

The new World Civil Aviation Report is a celebration edition of ICAO’s 75th an-niversary. The Report reviews how ICAO and its Member States are tackling today’s most pressing civil aviation challenges. Topics explored include the usage of unmanned aircrafts, ability to continuously track commercial aircraft over oceanic areas, reduction of CO2 emissions by international air transport, and many more.

This twelfth edition introduces space weather centres and the requirement to disseminate OPMET information using ICAO meteorological information exchange model (IWXXM)7 geography markup language (GML) form, intro-duced in Amendment 78 to Annex 3.

This document remains draft and subject to further changes as the work progresses.Version 2.0 incorporates the outcomes of the DTRFunctional Workshopheld at ICAO, Montreal, 9-11 April 2019.As part of the discussion at that workshop, a proposed change to the name of the repository was discussed.
