Terms of enrolmentand bank holidays

Price validity: 1st January - 31 December 2021.

Terms of enrolment must be accepted for any enrolment.

There will be no classes on the following bank holidays:1st January, 5 April, 13 May, 24 May, 14 July, 1st November,11 November 2021.

These dates are not refundable.

ENROLMENTTo enrol, you must:

be at least 16 years old by the first day of the course (Junior course programmes: 12 years old).return the completed enrolment form together with the course and enrolment payment and a passport-sized photo (printed or scanned).

CAVILAM - Alliance Française declines all responsibility for students aged between 16 and 18. Parents must fill in and send back the parental authorisationand are recommended to take out a special insurance policy for their children’sstay in France.

Accommodation for students aged between 16 and 18 will be only in host-families with halfboard. Lunches can be taken at the university restaurant.

These documents may be requested for your visa application at the FrenchConsulate. For short stays (less than 3 months), apply for a tourist visa.

INSURANCEAll students are required to take out an insurance policy (if possible, in compliancewith their country’s own insurance legislation) against illness, loss of money, valuables, luggage, theft and early departure for personal or medical reasons. CANCELLATIONIn the event of cancellation by the student, the following fees will be charged:

Less than a week before starting course: 80 ! + cost of 1 week

After starting course: all course and registration fees

CAVILAM reserves the right to cancel courses which do not obtain a sufficientnumber of enrolments.Should this happen, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid

MODIFICATIONSAfter starting course, any change of program, at the request of the customer,may lead to additional costs

INTERRUPTION / ABSENTEEISMIn the event of interruption or early departure, fees cannot be reimbursed.Without prior approval from CAVILAM - Alliance Française student absences(hours, days, periods of courses) cannot be refunded

INTERNAL REGULATIONSIf a student’s behaviour is liable to have a disruptive effect on the classes orother activities provided (courses, accommodation, leisure activities) or to bedamaging to the reputation of CAVILAM - Alliance Française, the student inquestion will be immediately expelled without prior notice and will not be entitledto a refund of the paid fees

COPYRIGHTUnless otherwise informed by the student on enrolment, photographs or videosof students may be taken by CAVILAM - Alliance Française and used for com-munication and marketing purposes

CLAIMAny claim should be addressed in a detailed letter to CAVILAM - AllianceFrançaise, who undertakes to give the issue its full attention. In the event of litigation, the case will be submitted to the law courts of Cusset.
