This new design Vallon Metal Detector VMC1 is a retract-ible detector or demining. It is supplied with a sot carry-ing bag housing the complete mine detecting set. Due toits small packing size it needs extremely little space ortransportation and thus acilitates operation in impassableareas.Inspite o the compact design Vallon made no compromisewith regards to the detection eatures. The VMC1 is a ullyadequate Vallon Metal Detector oering highest detection

sensitivity and detection stability.The modern used technology as well as simple and easy tounderstand operation elements ensure a high demining re-liability. The metal alarms are very clear so that the opera-tor can work without a headset and any external cables.

Search Head with Telescopic Pole

The rugged search head contains the Digital Pulse Induc-tion Sensor with integrated noise reduction eatures. Theshape allows easy operation in difcult and dense vege-tation, rocks, shallow water and mud. This unique designprovides precise pinpointing and an excellent separationbetween narrow placed targets without loss o detectionspeed.The telescopic pole consists o three tubes. The length is

easily adjustable even during operation in just a ew sec-onds so that detection work can be done in standing, kneel-ing or proning position.

Modern Electronics

Detected metals are clearly indicated by– audio signal via a non-magnetic loudspeaker– LED bargraph with 14 elements, clearly visible even in

the sunlight– vibrator to warn the deminer addition ally, especially

i detection work is done in noisy environment.

Individual alarm combinations can be programmed subse-quently by authorized personal.An automatic continuous sel check o six important unc-tions including cable damage and battery level control isthe lie insurance or the deminer. System ailures are im-mediately indicated by a special audio alarm and a speciallight indication.

The automatic detection level control guarantees a long-term constant sensitivity or hours o operation independ-ent o the battery level, temperature and other environ-mental conditions.

Setting into Operation

The VMC1 requires only minimal operator training. No as-sembly, the cable is running inside. The transport bag con-tains a feld manual.

- Open the bag- Take the detector- Insert the batteries- Open the search head- Pull out the arm rest- Lit handle- Adjust the length o the telescopic pole- Switch ON and search

Trained operators can start in less than 20 seconds.

Transportation

The VMC1 comes with a small, sot carrying bag made romsynthetic material. It can be fxed to the operator’s hip andthigh.
