1) Safety Lanyard(engine cut-off cord)
It is the same operation as explainedon the 2001 Operator’s Guide. Onlythe location differs. Refer to LOCA-TION CONTROLS, COMPONENTSAND INSTRUMENTS SPECIFIC TOTHE RXX MODEL section.
5) Hydraulic Variable Trim System Lever (VTS)
Located on LH side of handlebar, thislever is used to change jet pump noz-zle position. Squeeze lever to lowernozzle and thus improving watercraftacceleration. When lever is released,the nozzle automatically returns to itscenter position.
11) TachometerIt is the same operation as explainedon the 2001 Operator’s Guide. Onlythe location differs. Refer to LOCA-TION CONTROLS, COMPONENTSAND INSTRUMENTS SPECIFIC TOTHE RXX MODEL.
FUEL AND LUBRICATION
NOTE: This section is in addition to theother applicable information which isalready specified in the 2001 Opera-tor’s Guide.
Recommended FuelUse super unleaded regular gasolinewith 91 octane minimum (Ron +Mon)/2 specification.CAUTION: Never experiment withother fuels or fuel ratios. Never usefuel containing more than 10% alco-hol, (ethanol or methanol). The useof non-recommended fuel can resultin watercraft performance deterio-ration and damage to critical parts inthe fuel system and engine compo-nents.
Recommended OilUse only two-stroke engine injectionoil sold by authorized Sea-Doo dealers.
CAUTION: Never use four-stroke pe-troleum or synthetic motor oil andnever mix these with outboard mo-tor oil. Do not use NMMA TC-W, TC-W2 or TC-W3 outboard motor oils orother ashless type two-stroke oil.Avoid mixing different brands of APITC oil as resulting chemical reac-tions may cause severe engine dam-age.
