Using a 3-D imaging system, Rossignol scanned 20,000 feet when redesigning the boot line with modern foot shapes. The

result is an asymmetric toe box, width across the forefoot and a more articulate mid-foot and heel pocket. Rossignol says its

boots fit more feet than any other brand.

For the North American market, certain Rossignol boots are listed in US shoe sizes, not mondopoint. Half-sizes only available.

This year the collection is divided by shell type and forefoot width. A point worth noting is that the liners are fit exactly to the

shell so there are no gaps or loose areas between shell and liner for what Rossignol calls the best out-of-the-box fit in the

business.

SENSOR3 SHELL (Forefoot width 100MM)

Sensor3 is Rossignols boot concept that was introduced after 3 years in development and it remains a key technology in the

new Rossignol line. The concept is based on the knowledge that balance is based on feedback from 3 areas of the foot, the

triangle formed by the heel and 1st and 5th metatarsals. To maximize that feedback, Sensor3 uses a narrow footboard so the

liner rests directly on the shell in those areas and stiffer plastic is used in strategic locations to further sharpen the response.

Rossignol says this technology delivers a more accurate fit and more control for more skiers than any other boot on the market.
