2.2.4.

Test of strength of seat back and its locking system : The seat back withstood a rearward bending moment in relation to the Rpoint of 53 daNm without any failure, and all systems remained in working order after the test. No breakage and no release of the adjustment systems were observed during and after the test.

2.2.5.

Performance of head restraints: Not applicable (no head restraints). On the request of the manufacturer following supplementary tests have been made: Effectiveness of the upper part of the seat :Seat type Double seat Head restraint type integral not adjustable Rearward displacement [mm] 64 (1st headrestraint) 74 (2nd headrestraint) Remarks no breakage

Maximum rearward displacement of the upper part of the seat was less than 102 mm during the above 37,3 daN m / 37,3 daN m backform/headform rearward moment tests.No breakage of the seats or seat backs occurred when the load on the upper part of the seats was increased to 89 daN
