La testata mais GIGANALUX è equipaggiata conscatole ad ingranaggi in legadi alluminio temprato cheinglobano la trasmissione delmoto ai rulli mungitori, allecatene e al trinciastocchi (serichiesto). Gli ingranaggi inacciaio sono sottoposti atrattamento di cementazione,tempra e rinvenimento,costantemente lubrificati abagno d’olio. Caratteristicaaggiunta è la modularità dellascatola per guadagnare inleggerezza e resistenzameccanica.

I rulli mungitori possonoessere a 5 lame taglienti antiusura, oppure a 6 alette

in acciaio conificate dopola saldatura.

Ogni gruppo fila è dotatodi una frizione indipendentee regolabile che lo proteggedai sovraccarichi per evitarerotture e garantire sicurezzaed affidabilità nelle molteplicicondizioni di raccolta.

La regolazione dei piattispannocchiatori avvieneidraulicamente per adeguarlial tipo di prodotto daraccogliere.

Il trinciastocchi a bassoassorbimento di potenza,montato su ogni gruppo fila,può essere facilmente inseritoo disinserito

a seconda delle esigenzedel cliente senzacompromettere il lavoro dellatestata. Nota meccanica ditutto rilievo è l'impiego in

ciascun gruppo trinciastocchidi una ruota libera che evita isovraccarichi e i pesanticontraccolpi, dovuti ai normaliarresti, ad ingranaggi, alberi,cuscinetti e loro sedi, con ilvantaggio di una lunga duratasupplementare degli organimeccanici protetti.

The GIGAN ALUX cornhead is equipped withtempered aluminium alloygearboxes that enclose powertransmission to the stalk rolls,the chains and the stalkchopper (if required). Thesteel gears undergo atreatment of carbonising,hardening and drawing,constantly lubricated in an oilbath. A characteristic additionis the modularity of the box,thus gaining in lightness andmechanical toughness.

The stalk rolls may be with5 sharpened knifes or steelheat-treated .

Each row unit is equippedwith an independentadjustable clutch whichprotects it from overloads,thus avoiding breakages andensuring safety and reliabilityunder various harvestingconditions.

Hydraulically adjustabledeck plates let you quicklyadapt corn head performanceto varying harvestingconditions.

The low power absorptionstalk chopper mounted oneach row unit is easilyengaged and disengaged

in accordance withcustomer’s needs and withoutjeopardising the working ofthe head. A highly importantmechanical note is the use, ineach stalk chopper unit, of afree wheel which avoidsoverloads and heavy recoils,due to normal stops, acting ongears, shafts, bearings, withthe advantage of an extendedworking life for the protectedmechanical parts.

The forward position of the stalk choppers covers 100%of the rolls’ pulling area. This system assures an optimalchop of the stalks, which pass from the rolls directly tothe working area of the chopper. The working areas ofthe rolls and the choppers fully correspond and areoverlapped, and therefore allow the chopping of the entirestalk’s length in small pieces-starting at a minimum safetydistance of 3 inches from the ground.
