Why DC/OS&Mesos China Report? The open source Apache License, Mesos, has come a long way since

being developed at the University of California, Berkeley. It has been adopted by several large software companies, including Twitter, Airbnb and Apple. At least 60 organizations currently use Mesos in WW. However, with all of its recent successes and news in China, there are still unknown and ambiguous that surround Mesos adoption and usage that are worth reporting. DC/OS is getting noticed, However there are still no report to track this in China. Its worth reporting too. Our major purpose is to analyze & promote both DC/OS & Mesoscommunities in China.

Highlights:• The survey was asked of a general cloud audience and virtualization/containerization in vertical industries, rather than focusing specifically on existing Mesos users in order to get a complete understanding. • With 900+ survey responses, it became clear that Mesos has definitely become a more mature technology with increased visibility. Only about 10% of respondents had never heard of it; and another 30% were familiar with the technology, but not yet using it.

More than 50% were kicking the evaluating it, and around 10% were using it in production

Highlights:• The survey was asked of a general cloud audience and virtualization/containerization in vertical industries, rather than focusing specifically on existing Mesos users in order to get a complete understanding. • With 900+ survey responses, it became clear that DC/OS is still in invisibility with more than 55%; •And around 20% were familiar with the technology, but not yet using it. *Too heavyOnly 26% were kicking the evaluating it, and less than 5% were using it in production
