Retail Supply Chain Consulting Services Site Manager: Pick ‘n Pay Long Meadow Distribution Centre

RSC is a dynamic retail supply chain audit verification and project management solution that specializes in process integrity, stock audit verification and end to end continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain. (± 600 employees)

We increased the data capturing accuracy and time matrix by 18% for inbound and outbound data capturing with our client, Imperial, through a balanced scorecard.

We implemented a destacking process which prevents damages entering the warehouse while saving our client over R300k per month. This includes damaged stock, damaged pallets and missing stock through stock integrity.

We increased the reworking of damaged stock in the reclamation area in inventory by 23%, resulting in over R1.1m saving of stock being sent back into the warehouse.

We decreased the dumping of stock by 9% through audit and verification of dumping the correct stock, saving the business R40 000 per month.

We increased the outbound loader productivity by 27% by implementing result driven strategies.

SAP transition from IDW to EWM in grocery shed.I have a logon for both systems.The perishable shed is still on IDW.

We were awarded the Perishable and Grocery (Site) Inventory function (± 150 employees) entailing all stock control from daily stock counting to annual stock take.

We were awarded the Perishable Inbound function (± 50 employees), therefore we were operating in both sheds (Site) inbound from offloading to receiving all loads that enter the PnP LMDC.

Converted the perishable loading function from using PPT machines to manual loading in an effort to save costs on machinery and maintenance. In this we maintained the productivity loading rate.

We were awarded the contract of Post Pick Audit in outbound groceries. Responsible for the management of pick accuracy and the reporting thereof.

KHUTA Resource Optimization Site Manager: Pick ‘n Pay Long Meadow Distribution Centre I was promoted as Site Manager for Khuta (± 200 employees)

Khuta is an output driven productivity specialist that provides optimized staffing solutions within supply chain environments.

Khuta controls 25% of the Grocery shed picking compliment as well as 27% of the reach truck compliment

Impala Platinum Refineries is in the business of mining, refining and marketing of platinum group metals (PGM’s), as well and nickel, copper and cobalt.

I acquired the knowledge of working on SAP.
