OBJECTIFS GÉNÉRAUX D’APPRENTISSAGE

À la fin du congrès, le participant devrait être en mesure de :

Ø Souligner les nouveautés dans les cliniques de fertilité, le dépistage prénatal et la maladie cardiovasculaire chez les femmes

Ø Discuter de nouvelles approches technologiques au laboratoire pour le diagnostic ou le suivi du traitement des maladies

Ø Résumer la pathophysiologie et réviser les approches diagnostiques et thérapeutiques de l’ostéoporose chez l’homme et la femme

Ø Identifier les nouvelles avenues de traitement des dyslipidémies

GENERAL LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of the congress, the participant should be able to :

Ø Underline novelties in fertility clinics, prenatal diagnosis and heart disease in women

Ø Discuss new laboratory technologies for the diagnosis or the follow-‐up of diseases

Ø Summarize the pathophysiology and revised the diagnosis and therapeutic approaches of osteoporosis in both men and women

Ø Identify novel therapies for the treatment of dyslipidemia

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program (MOC) of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Office of Professional Development (OPD) of the Fédération des médecins spécialistes du Québec.

The OPD approves 1 credit per hour of attendance for a maximum of 15,60 credits for the entire activity. Participation in this activity qualifies for a certificate of attendance. Participants should claim a number of hours consistent with their attendance.

1. L’apprentissage se fera par des conférences magistrales de 45 minutes avec une période de 15 minutes de questions. 45 minutes conferences followed by a 15 minutes question period

2. Il y aura aussi une période de 60 minutes consacrée aux résidents du programme pour des

présentations orales (12 minutes + 3 minutes de questions). A 60 minutes period for resident presentations (12 minutes + 3 minutes for questions)
