Les Jeux de la Les Jeux de la faim faim trilogie écrite

par Suzanne Collins. Elle a

commencé à écrire de télévision pour

enfants avant d’écrire l’auteur de

“The Underland The Underland Chronicles”Chronicles”.

Elle a été inspiré pour écrire les jeux les jeux de la faimde la faim après avoir été zapping [channel surfing] entre regarder la guerre de Irak et une émission de téléréalité.

Elle a aussi été influencé par la

mythologiemythologie, en particulier l’histoire de

Thésée et le Minotaure.

L’histoire se déroule de nombreuses années dans futurfutur. Le pays (dans lequel vit) est situé dans l’ancienne

partie de la terre.

misère humaine, de l’oppression, de la maladie,

et la surpopulation. Le gouvernement est

généralement totalitarietotalitarie: celui exerce un controle sur la liberté, la volonté, ou la

pensée d’autrui..ô

L’utopiaL’utopia est un lieu imaginaire qui est

idéalement parfait: abri de la pauvreté, et de la souffrance.

Comme punition pour la rébellion contre le

Capitale, les citoyens du district sont contraints à une vie de

pauvreté, la pauvreté, la famme, et famme, et de labeur de labeur

Le Capitale oblige tous les citoyens à assister à la

compétition les jeux de la les jeux de la vievie direct à la télévision. Il a été créé par le Capitale de rappeler aux citoyens du district de leurs

erreurs passées.

The Gamemakers Second Rule

Change

Even though her first instinct is to kill

Peeta, Katniss realizes that the Capitol needs a

victor.

They have all these events (the victory tour) that will entertain the viewers until

the next Hunger Games.

What would they do without a victor?

They need entertainment to keep the viewers happy.

Because if the Capitol people aren’t happy and decide to

turn on the government, who is left to defend the Capitol?

No one.No one.

Once Katniss realizes this, she realizes that if she and Peeta both fake their own suicides, the Gamemakers (or government) will allow both to live because they

need to keep those Capitol citizens happy and on the

government’s side.
