The real art of an art gallery

We believe the true purpose of an Art Gallery should be to have the courage to sponsor and provide encouragement to aspiring young artists, who show the creativity and determination to define the future of art.

We aim to exhibit artists from all disciplines who together demonstrate and testify to the universality of art :”Art without Frontiers”.The gallery aims to mix fine arts with a wide range of artistic expression such as: books launches,concerts,debates,conferences,publications…

Daniel Boeri,owner aims to encourage creative originality from any artistic background providing an unusual integrative approach to the arts.As an experienced Organizational Consultant and Gallery presenter, Daniel Boeri was interested in providing a platform for the best of young artists, visiting numerous studios and workshops and seeing the quality of art produced, gave him the idea of establishing his own art gallery to give life to his visions.

To give prominence to emerging artists, in 2013 he launched a competition for artists called: “l’Open des artistes de Monaco”. The public vote on the work submitted and the winning artists are offered an individual exhibition.For 2014, l’Open des artistes de Monaco competition is entitled “The Lost Paradise” and has generated more than 130 registrations from both local ans international artists.

The Art gallery organizes a variety of cultural events throughout the year including lectures,concerts,conferences,publishing and live performances.

The Art gallery l’Entrepôt has now mounted over forty exhibitions.

«Un PrintemPs à Anvers»

Partir en voyage avec six artistes sur la route pour se rendre à Anvers en décembre, c’est un peu comme partir à l’aventure en Amazonie avec des anthropologues aguerris en plein été.L’excitation de la découverte, le long trajet, le partage d’idées, les rencontres avec des aborigènes, l’attente d’un résultat tant espéré ..pour se retrouver devant l’Eldorado du possible, une foire à guichet fermé !

Ce voyage aura donné naissance à une nouvelle audace : réunir tous ces artistes internationaux autour d’une même exposition abordant différentes techniques autour du support papier et de figures libres, afin de montrer «Un printemps à Anvers» .... à Monaco.

L’Entrepôt les accueillera du 18 Mars au 18 avril 2015.

FRAnCOIs PARIs Born 1975, in France

Les dessins de François Paris semblent naître d’un désir d’histoires. Eléments parcellaires et essentiels d’un récit qui les dépassent, ils sont autant de chemins possibles activant un monde enpermanente construction. Récupérées dans le flux des images circulant sur l’internet ou spécialement réalisées, les photographies qui servent à l’artiste de points de départ ont des qualités diverses. singulières ou anecdotiques, elles évoquent souvent le corps ou la mécanique, le visage ou le crâne humain... Elles renvoient à la fugacité et à l’apparence.Chaque dessin constitue le point de départ d’un récit elliptique à inventer. Les expositions de François Paris sont donc des scénarios ouverts, des séquences. En ce sens, on pourrait donc dire que ces oeuvres empruntent autant au cinéma qu’à la photographie : les points de vue, les cadrages, les personnages, les indices, mais aussi et surtout, cette capacité à mettre en place des éléments capables d’ouvrir la voie à l’imaginaire. !

François Paris’ drawings seem to be born out of a desire for stories. Fragmented and essential elements of a narration that goes beyond them, they are as many possible paths activating a world permanently under construction. Recovered from the flux of images circulating on the internet or made specifically, the photographs that give the artist a starting point have various qualities. singular and trivial, they often evoke the body or mechanics, the face or the human skull… They refer to fleetingness and to appearance.

Each drawing constitutes the starting point of an elliptic narrative to be invented. François Paris’ exhibitions are thus open scripts, sequences. This way, we could say that these works borrow as much from cinema as they do from photography: the points of view, framings, characters, clues, but also and especially, this capacity to set up elements capable to open up the way to imagination.

Art wouldn’t be what we have wanted it to become nowadays , a master of joy and thought, if it didn’t also brings us as we meditate on its forms of expression and their uncertainties.Beyond mixed techniques and an approach to art as a baroque and onirique world, Caroline Rivalan brings a special attention to recycled items into her creation process.Her work is intimately connected with an instinctive and impulsive way of thinking; as she is using the transparency of a veil, the texture of wall paper, acrylic paint , she’s also collecting images for an entire year before using them. Increasing the figure of some materials found, grant them the increased value of a new autonomy by way of giving them another life almost in a magical way.Poets have taught us, as Aragon said, that errors of the senses lead to strange flowerings of reason. And it is thus together, in a movement that makes no attempt to distinguish between them, that they constitute what we call our world.Let ourselves be carried away, on the wings of these flotting, japoniselike and wanderings

L’art ne serait pas ce qu’il nous a plu d’en faire dans la modernité, un maître de joie et de pensée, s’il ne nous accompagnait aussi dans une méditation sur ses langages et leurs incertitudes.Au-delà des techniques mixtes et une approche de l’art comme un monde baroque et onirique , Caroline Rivalan apporte une attention particulière aux éléments recyclés dans son processus de création,Le toucher comme la vue sont requis dans son travail. On retrouve chez Caroline Rivalan cette attention à la matière qui a été réinstallée dans la peinture par Dubuffet.son travail est intimement connecté à une façon instinctive et impulsive de penser, qu’elle utilise la transparence d’un voile, la peinture acrylique, elle collectionne également des images, des photos pendant un an avant de les réutiliser . Augmentant les capacités de certains matériaux trouvés , leur accordant une nouvelle autonomie en leur donnant une autre vie de manière personnelle et presque magique. Ces préoccupations matiéristes se retrouve à tout instant dans ce travail qui s’adresse si on ose dire au sens du toucher de notre œil.Les poètes nous apprennent, comme disait Aragon, qu’aux erreurs des sens correspondent d’étranges fleurs de la raison. Et c’est donc ensemble, dans un mouvement qui renonce à les distinguer, qu’elles constituent ce que nous appelons notre monde. Laissons-nous transporter sur les ailes de ces errances flottantes au style japonisant .

La pratique du dessin chez Gerald Panighi doit beaucoup au ready made. Il reutilise des fragments d’images qu’il pose au milieu de grand morceau de papier. Les images qu’il recycle viennent de la culture populaire, des bd .... Ils commencent par selection des ces images qui peuvent venir par exemple d’ancien comics des années 60. Il se les approprie en retransferant un fragmant sur un support recyclé., et les accompagne souvent d’aphorisme. Mêlant l’image au mot, il provoque un décalage poétique, suscitant le rire ou le sourire. L’humour de Gérald Panighi est souvent abrupt, parfois noir, mettant l’accent sur notre humanité et nos imperfections, nous renvoyant à notre propre réflexion par le prisme de sa vision.

Gérald Panighi’s practice of drawing owes a lot to ready made. He uses labels,tattoo transfers, that he puts in the middle of large used,stained and yellowed paper sheets.The images he recycles usually come from popular culture,mass media and cartoons. His work consists in increasing the figure of these visual objects found,grant them the increased value of a new autonomy by way of,rather than diverting,crossing over.He starts with sorting out,a selection of images, most of which come from the 60s cartoons. He appro-priates characters he then copies by using tracing paper. Made with pencil,enhanced with waterco-lour or oil,they become alive on the paper where they are sometimes accompanied with aphorisms. Lost in emptiness,the thin and delicate line becomes a fragment,an absurd life moment,mixing the familiar with the incongruous,reveals a a worrisome strangeness.His drawings bear the trace,the fingerprints of their making. The stains,the halos,the hands or elbows arks surround the figure with a supplementary layer,insisting on the motive. The damaged surface of the page,the slightly wrinkled,even crinkled paper also bears the bears the scars of its passage in the studio,like as many traces of time. These accidents break with the mechanics of the tracing paper and the work constraints the artist imposes upon himself,they construct the very materiality of the drawing.

DAVID GABRIEL KAVAFY

Born in 1961 en Roumanie

David Gabriel Kavafy is a Rumanian-born artist. He moved in France at age of 30 and since that time, creates, exposes and publishes in both countries. His creation field is quite wide: photographer, writer and plastic artist, he likes exploring unusual territories. As a photographer, the mainstream of his work goes to abstraction. He uses camera as a visual tool, in the way a painter uses his pencil. Thereby, light, colour or movements become magic. Most of the time, reality disappears and the viewer find himself in front of some abstract piece of art which could be painting, drawing or photography. since 2008 his photographical work was exposed in Paris, Monaco and Bucharest.

Kriangkrai Kongkhanun is a Thai artist who studied at art schools in Thailand and Italy. It was in Europe where he absorbed western culture and immersed himself in their artistic traditions. studying the Great masters in the halls of the eminent art museums, his art has been heavily influenced by his experiences. On returning to Thailand, Kriangkrai’s art has combined his knowledge of western art with his Buddhist upbringing. subsequently, he has achieved fame as an emerging international artist with his work having been exhibited in 23 countries, mainly in America, Europe and Asia.

Kriangkrai Kongkhanun was born in 1980 and graduated with a Masters degree from silpakorn University. His major exhibitions in 2012 include the 5th Beijing International Art Biennale (BIAB), Beijing, China and “On The Threshold of The senses”, Tally Beck Contemporary, new York, UsA. In 2013 his work was shown in “Restless II” at the Cavin-Morris Gallery, new York, UsA as well as “Global Art 2013”, Douro Museum, Portugal and “Among strangers”, Gallery Jireh, Republic of Korea. Recently, he also collaborated with a Colombian artist for a project organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, and he will participate in the 16th international Biennial of Engraving sarcelles in France in 2014.

Kriangkrai Kongkhanun est un artiste Thaïlandais qui a étudié dans des écoles d’art en Thaïlande et en Italie.C’est en Europe qu’il s’est imprégné de la culture du western et de ses traditions artistiques.C’est en étudiant les grands classiques dans les couloirs des éminents musées d’art que son art a été grandement influencé par toutes ses découvertes.En retournant en Thaïlande, Kriangkrai a rassemblé dans son art, sa culture du western à son éducation bouddhiste. Ultérieurement , il acquiert la gloire en tant qu’artiste international émergeant, ses œuvres ayant été exposées dans 23 pays différents, surtout aux États-Unis, en Europe et en Asie.Kriangkrai Kongkhanun est né en 1980 et sort diplômé d’un Master de l’Université de silpakorn.ses expositions majeures en 2012 inclus la 5eme Biennale de L’art International à Pékin (BIAB) en Chine et « sur le seuil des sens» à la galerie contemporaine Tally Beck, à new York aux Etats-Unis.En 2013 son travail fût présenté «Restless II» à la galerie Cavin-Morris Gallery, à new York aux États-Unis ainsi que “Global Art 2013”, au Musée Douro au Portugal and “Among strangers” à la galerie Jireh, en République de Corée.Il a récemment collaboré avec un artiste pour un projet organisé par le Ministère des Affaires Etrangères de Colombie, il participera à la 16eme Biennale Internationale de la gravure à sarcelles en France en 2014.
