SECTOR INTRODUCTION

Chandigarh, the capital of the northern Indian states of Punjab and Haryana, was designed by the Swiss-French modernist architect, Le Corbusier. His buildings include the Capitol Complex with its High Court, Secretariat and Legislative Assembly, as well as the giant Open Hand Monument. Shimla ,also known as Simla, is the capital and the largest city of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.In 1864, Shimla was declared as the Summer Capital of British India , succeeding Murree, northeast of Rawalpindi. After independence, the city became the capital of Punjab and was later made the capital of Himachal Pradesh.

Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.

Arrive at chandigarh airport and Proceed Towards Hotel. Arrive and check in at Hotel. In evening, visit Pinjore Garden & Rock Garden. Overnight at Chandigarh.


DAY 3 – SHIMLA

After breakfast, proceed to Manali (Approx 7 hrs drive). Arrive and check in at HOTEL. Day free for rest and leisure activities.Overnight at Manali.

DAY 4 – SHIMLA – MANALI

After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing of Shimla. Visit Apple Garden, China Peak, Sankat Mochan Temple, Naldehra Ridge & Windows of Christ Church. Return Tohotel.Overnight at Shimla.


DAY 5 – MANALI

After breakfast, proceed for full day tour of Rohtang Pass (Optional) – The majesty of the mountains andthe glaciers can be seen at their best; you have next two hours to enjoy this snowy haven. Take a sledgeride down the slopes, try your luck climbing the little snow hills. On your descents to Manali, halt at theRahalla falls and Solang Valley. The Magnificent views and natural beauty are a never-ending source ofdelight. Also, halt at Marhi, Ralha falls, Nehru Kund. Return to hotel. Overnight at Manali.


DAY 6 – MANALI

After breakfast, proceed to Chandigarh Airport (Approx 8 hours) to board flight for further journey. Tour ends with sweet Memories with Gem Tours.

DAY 7 –MANALI – CHANDIGARH AIRPORT
