Message From Head of the Department

Dear friends, colleagues, and alumni:

We are pleased to share some of the exciting news in the Department of

Mechanical Engineering at Rajarshi Shahu college of engineering, Tatha-

wade the past few months or year.

It makes students to gain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding

of subjects. It aims to inculcate values of basic knowledge of Engineering,

science, computer, mathematical, techniques of communication skill &

management which will imbibe the ability to apply the basic problem

B i g C o n g r a t u l a t i o n s t o t e a m S u p r a The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) organized the “Supra Formula ”Competition was held at Uttar Pradesh in Noida and 116 participants have participated in competition. The students from JSPM RSCOE Studying at TE and BE (Mechanical) had also made a car for this competition. The cars go through several days of competition, which includes evaluation of the cost of the cars, the design, acceleration, efficiency, endurance - even how well the student teams present their design and engineering and Our RSCOE team Redline Racing won First price in best cost car category. The price of the car was just only three lakh fifty thou-sand only.

The Car was made by a group of 25 students. It was not so easy to make such a sports car at low budget. For making the college has provided them a workshop. The college helped students as much as they can and student also spended their pocketmoney on car. Many circumstances were their but they have solved all problems which were on their way to made car.

The captain of team was Pramod and Vice Captain was Kevin, Omar and Sharayu had given cost presentation. The speed of car is 150km/hr and weight of car is 216kg. For designing Dr. A.M. Badadhe sir with Prof. Satij Kale and Prof. Rupesh Sundge Sir had guided them.
