Scriveva lo scrittore e filosofo spagnolo Baltasar Graciàn che “la passione tinge dei suoi colori tutto ciò che tocca”, ma è pur vero, che anch’essa può essere tinta e vestita dei colori dei propri sogni. Nonostante si tratti di qualcosa di etereo e immateriale, è pro-prio nel regno dell’immaginifico che l’alta moda sposa riesce a dar corpo, concretamente, a un’emozione, creando per lei e lei soltanto i suoi abiti più iconici e intensi. Un abito da sposa non veste solo la fortunata che lo indosserà, ma è il simbolo di tutta una storia d’amore. Nei suoi preziosi ricami, incredibili silhouette e arditi volumi, si nasconde ogni istante di quel sentimento pro-fondo che presto legherà per sempre chi ha deciso di dividere il proprio destino con un’altra persona, scommettendo sulla forza del legame che li unisce. Il matrimonio è, infatti, una scommessa coraggiosa, un atto d’amore fiero che merita, per essere celebrato degnamente, di essere vestito con l’abito più incredibile e meravi-glioso che si possa immaginare. Ma esiste davvero un abito all’al-tezza di tale compito? L’abito perfetto per giurarsi amore eterno? Romanticamente rispondiamo di sì perché crediamo nella magia dell’incontro. Se una donna ha avuto il caso, la ventura o il destino di incontrare il suo vero grande amore, così sarà per il suo abito da sposa che la sta solo attendendo nei più bei atelier: appena lei lo vedrà, così come accadde con il suo innamorato, lo ricono-scerà e saprà che è lui e lui solo quello in grado di farla sentire la donna più bella e felice della terra.

If a woman had the chance, the fortune or the destiny to meet her true big love it will be the same for her wedding dress that it is only waiting for her in the ateliers: as soon as she will see it she will recognize it and she will know that it is the one and the only one capable to make her feel the most beautiful and happy woman in the world in the same way like it happened with her beloved.

Giunta alla settima edizione, la fiera turca di “If Wedding Fashion Izmir”, dedicata all’alta moda, sposa, uomo, cerimonia e accessori, ha registrato quest’anno un record di visitatori e buyer provenienti da ben 79 paesi, tutti giunti nella bellissima città di Smyrna per ammirare le ultime novità del settore, assolutamente top di gamma. Organizzata da İZFAŞ (İzmir Fair Services Culture and Art Affairs Trade Inc), in collaborazione con il Ministero dell’Economia, TMHGF (Turkish Fashion and Apparel Federation ) e EGSD (Aegan Clothing Manufactures Association), “If Wedding Fashion Izmir” è, infatti, un appuntamento cult per buyer e professionisti del settore, trattandosi in assoluto della più grande fiera wedding di tutta Europa.Quest’anno, con oltre 187 espositori, “If Wedding Fashion Izmir”, ha registrato un autentico record di visitatori, con oltre diciottomila ospiti e buyers provenienti da tutto il mondo, in particolare da paesi come Stati Uniti, Libano, Bulgaria, Iran, Canada, Germania, Arabia Saudita, Italia, Libia, Giappone e Giordania, sempre più consapevoli del ruolo assolutamente trainante di questa esposizione come space d’elezione per comprendere meglio dove sta andando, e verso quali mercati e tendenze si muove, uno dei settori più importanti del fashion system. L’alta moda sposa, infatti, non conosce crisi e l’offerta internazionale è sempre più mirata e accurata. Molti gli espositori provenienti anche dalla stessa Turchia, con rappresentanti di ben 74 città come Ankara, Antalya, Aydın, Bursa, Çanakkale, Gaziantep, İstanbul, Kocaeli e Sakarya. Durante i quattro giorni di fiera, ogni espositore ha avuto importanti opportunità sia di far conoscere le proprie creazioni e la filosofia creativa e commerciale della propria azienda che di concludere affari importanti con i maggiori compratori internazionali,. Particolarmente affollati gli stand dei creatori d’alta moda sposa libanesi, con spazi estremamente ampi, lussuosi e charmant. Per inaugurare in grande stile “If Wedding Fashion Izmir” si è tenuto un elegante Opening Gala Fashion Show, organizzato dai producer della fiera, con protagoniste in passerella le sublimi creazioni della stilista Tuvana Büyükçınar Demir che, con la sua collezione “Ephemera”, ha incantato tutti i presenti grazie al romanticismo e all’allure da sogno che permeava ogni suo wedding dress. La sfilata di chiusura è stata con “Modern Queens 2013 collection” by Zeynep Acar.Notevole anche la performance di Gokhan Yavaş con la sua “Last Dance of Butterfly”, collezione onirica e seducente di grande impatto visivo. Ampia visibilitàè stata data anche alle creazioni dei giovani stilisti, sia grazie ad inviti ad hoc alla stampa internazionale, accorsa per scoprire i nuovi futuri golden boys del settore,sia grazie a un contest molto importante dal titolo “Touching the Time” a cui hanno partecipato 104 designer provenienti da tutta la Turchia. 15 i finalisti del concorso che hanno avuto la chance di sfilare in fiera, mentre i tre vincitori assoluti sono stati Okan Karakuş, seguito da Hatice Kübra e da Çiçek and Tuğçe Özcan., eletti all’unanimità da una giuria di qualificati esperti del settore. Le date della fiera del prossimo anno, saranno tra il 22 - 25 Gennaio 2014.

The Turkish trade show ‘’If Wedding Fashion Izmir’’ reached its seventh edition, it is dedicated to the haute couture, brides, suits, evening gowns, accessories and this year it registered a record number of visitors and buyers coming form 79 countries. They arrived in the beautiful city Smyrna to admire the last news of the sector, absolutely high quality. It is organized by İZFAŞ (Izmir Fair Services Culture and Art Affairs Trade Inc) in collaboration with the Economic Ministry, TMHGF (Turkish Fashion and Apparel Federation) and EGSD (Aegan Clothing Manufactures Association), “If Wedding Fashion” is in fact a cult appointment for buyersand professionals of the sector being the biggest trade show wedding in Europe.With more than 187 expositors, it registered this year an authentic record of visitors with more than 18.000 guests and buyers coming from all over the world in particular U.S.A, Lebanon, Bulgaria, Iran, Canada, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Libya, Japan and Jordan. Everyone is aware of the driving role of this exhibitionas an election space to have a better understanding of where one of the most important sector of the fashion system is going and which are the marketsit is moving towards.Haute Couture Bride doesn’t know economic crisis and the international offer is always accurate and focused. There are many exhibitors coming from Turkeyas well with representatives of 74 cities like Ankara, Antalya, Aydın, Bursa, Çanakkale, Gaziantep, İstanbul, Kocaeli and Sakarya. During the four-day-trade-show each exhibitor had some important chance to get others to know his creations and his creative and commercial philosophy of his company plus some chance to conclude important affairs with big international buyers. The stands of the Lebanese haute couture bride creators were particularly crowded with spaces extremely wide, luxurious and charming. There was an elegant Opening Gala Fashion Show to inaugurate ‘’If Wedding Fashion Izmir’’ in great style. It was organized by the trade show producers and the creations by the stylist Tuvana Büyükçınar Demir were the protagonists in the catwalks. Her collection ‘’Ephemera’’ enchanted all the guests thanks to the romanticism and the dreaming allure that invaded each of her wedding dress. Closing fashion show was with “Modern Queens 2013 collection” by Zeynep Acar.The performance by Gokhan Yavas was remarkable with his ‘’Last Dance of Butterfly’’. Oneiric and seducing collection of a great visual impact. A big visibility was given to the creations of the young stylists thanks to the ad hoc invitations of the international press that came to find out the new future golden boys of the sector and also thanks to a very important contest ‘’ Touching the Time’’ where 104 designers took part coming from the whole Turkey.The finalists were 15 and they had the chance to show their creations during the trade show. The 3 winners were Okan Karakuş followed by Hatice Kübra, Çiçek and Tuğçe Özcan. They were unanimously elected by a jury of qualified experts of the sector. Next year date to be held between 22-25 January 2014.
