Gargantas de Gredos dista 190 kilómetros de madrid en dirección suroeste, en el término de Madrigal de la Vera, Cáceres. Las cotas oscilan entre los 2.260 y 560 metros. La sierra granítica recoge en grandes y profundos valles, llamados gargantas, el agua del deshielo y lluvia formando caudalosos ríos de montaña. La temperatura media anual es de 16 ºC, con oscilaciones más o menos importantes alrededor de esta según la altura y estación del año (-10ºC-30ºC), y una precipitación media anual de 1.200 mm.

Gargantas de Gredos is 190 kms to the south-west of madrid in the municipality of Madrigal de la Vera, Cáceres. Elevations range from 560 to 2260 metres. The granite mountains drop into large, deep valleys, called “gargantas” (gorges), with water from melting snow and rain forming fast-flowing mountain rivers. The average annual temperature is 16 °C , with fairly important variations depending on altitude and time of year (-10ºC to +30ºC), and annual average rainfall of 1,200 mm.

La cazaLa caza es enteramente realizada a rececho. La finca dispone de accesos por camino a las casas de la parte de abajo y algunas de la zona media, pero el resto de los desplazamientos deben ser hechos a pie o en caballo de montaña, animales muy mansos y habituados a las sendas de la sierra.El periodo de caza va desde el 1 de septiembre hasta el 30 de abril. Siendo la época de celo del macho entre noviembre y diciembre.La selección es la piedra angular de nuestra gestión. Hacemos un gran esfuerzo por llevar los machos a término, permitiéndoles desarrollar todo su potencial. No es raro cazar animales de 14 años de edad.

tHe HuntStalking is the only technique used to hunt game here . The property is accessed by road to the lower lodges and to some of those at the middle levels, but the rest of the area must be covered on foot or by mountain horses, which are very gentle and accustomed to the mountain trails.The hunting period runs from September 1 to the end of April with the rut of the capra taking place in November and December.Selective hunting is the cornerstone of our management policy. We make every effort to bring males to maturity, allowing them to develop to their full potential. It is not uncommon to hunt animals aged 14.

La cHasse

La chasse a l’approche est le seul mode de chasse pratique ici. On accède a la propriété par la route et ce jusqu’aux maisons situées aux niveaux les plus bas et certaines d’entre elles aux altitudes intermédiaires, mais le restant du territoire doit être couvert a pied ou a cheval (il s’agit de chevaux de montagne très doux et habitues aux pistes dans la montagne).La période de chasse court du 1er septembre à fin avril et le rut de la Capra a lieu en novembre et décembre.La chasse sélective est le principe de base de notre gestion. Nous faisons tout pour que les males atteignent la maturité, les laissant développer tout leur potentiel. Il n’est pas rare de récolter des animaux de 14 ans..

dIe JaGdDie Pirsch ist die einzige Technik, die hier zur Jagd genutzt wird. Der Besitz ist durch Straßen zu den Landhäusern und Wegen zu einigen Jagdhäusern in mittleren Höhenlagen zugänglich, aber der Rest des Gebietes muss zu Fuß oder aber mit Bergpferden, die sehr zahm und an Bergpfade gewöhnt sind, erschlossen werden. Die Jagdzeit dauert vom 01.09. – 30.04. mit der Brunft der Steinböcke im November und Dezember.Selektive Jagd ist ein Eckpfeiler unserer Hege. Wir unternehmen jede Anstrengung, das Wild reif werden zu lassen, damit es sich zu seinem vollen Potential entwickeln kann. Es ist nicht ungewöhnlich, dass auf 14 Jahre altes Wild gejagt wird.

Las especies presentes con interés cinegético son: macho montés, ciervo, gamo y jabalí. Además existen otras especies que le dan un valor natural único como el águila real, buitre leonado y negro, ginetas, nutrias, garzas, zorros, entre otros.

The altitude variation of more than 1,700 metres between the peaks and the lowest areas allows the existence of multiple habitats: deciduous forest, holm oaks, broom area and heathland, (bracken/ fern area), and alpine meadows, which generate internal migration of animals from one place to another, depending on the season.One of the main characteristics of Gargantas de Gredos is that the animals are wild and completely free-ranging . The species that can be hunted here are the spanish ibex, red deer, fallow deer and wild boar. There are also other species that give Gargantas de

Gredos its uniqueness such as the Golden Eagle, Griffon and Black Vulture, genets, otters, herons, foxes, among others.

Un écart de l’ordre de 1700 mètres entre les sommets et les zones basses permet d’avoir de nombreux biotopes différents : forets de pins, chênes, buissons, lande (zone de fougères), prairies de montagne, le tout favorisant la migration interne des animaux d’une zone a l’autre suivant les saisons.Une des principales caractéristiques de Gargantas de Gredos est que le territoire abrite une grande variété d’animaux sauvages et aucune clôture ne limite leurs mouvements. Les espèces qui peuvent y être chassées sont le bouquetin espagnol, le cerf élaphe, le daim et le sanglier. L’on y trouve également d’autres espèces qui donnent à Gargantas de Gredos son aspect tout-a-fait unique: l’aigle royal, le vautour griffon et noir, genettes, loutres, hérons, renards entre autres.

la propiedad dispone de 2 casas de gran confort en la zona baja (todas las habitaciones con baño independiente), y 3 casas de caza en las zonas intermedias atendidas y con servicio de cocina.Además tiene siete refugios en distintas cotas y lugares donde guarecerse en caso de mal tiempo.

The property has 2 luxury lodges in the lower area (all rooms with en-suite bathrooms) and 3 hunting lodges in the intermediate areas. All of them are very comfortable and staffed by personnel and cooks. It also has seven shelters at different altitudes where hunters and guides can spend the night if bad weather sets in.

le territoire dispose de deux maisons luxueuses en basse altitude (toutes les chambres ayant leur propre salle-de-bains) et trois autres en altitude moyenne.Elles sont toutes très confortables et ont un personnel d’entretien et de cuisine. Il y a également sept gites a différentes altitudes ou chasseurs et guides peuvent passer la nuit en cas d’intempéries.

der Besitz verfügt über 2 luxuriöse landhäuser in den unteren Lagen (alle Räume mit eigenem Bad) und 3 Jagdhäuser in den mittleren Höhenlagen. Alle Häuser sind sehr komfortabel eingerichtet und verfügen über Personal und Köche. Es gibt im Revier sieben Schutzhütten in verschiedenen Höhen, in denen Jäger und Jagdführer bei schlechtem Wetter eine Nacht verbringen können.

availability?We are very strict in hunting a given animal at the correct time and have self-imposed quotas. On the other hand the hunting of the spanish Ibex is strictly regulated by the public administration. We have a limited number of permits each year that we allocate on a first-come, first-served basis on receipt of the hunt deposit which is deducted from the final price. Once we have reached our quota we cannot take further bookings.

does one have to be in good physical shape?It is not an essential requirement, but it does allow you to reach the highest peaks and enjoy a more unique experience. Our guides always adapt to the pace of the hunter, and are there to facilitate the hunt to the maximum. In addition our horses that come from the Sierra de Gredos are very gentle and make it easy to access all areas. We have teamed up with hunters of great experience in both hunting and life (80 years old) who have obtained their trophy to their greatest satisfaction. You define your limits and our guides cater for them in a prudent way.

Il est important de porter une casquette et de prévoir des lunettes de soleil et de la crème solaire.

faut-il être en bonne condition physique? Ce n’est pas essentiel mais cela vous permet d’atteindre les pics les plus élèves et donc de bénéficier d’une expérience encore plus exceptionnelle. En outre nos chevaux qui viennent de la Sierra de Gredos sont très doux et vous permettent d’accéder a toutes les parties du territoire. ropaAconsejamos el uso de ropa de alta montaña ligera (3 capas, ropa interior térmica, forro polar, y capa exterior protectora de viento y agua) , y un calzado adecuado a las rocas y cómodo. Es importante contar con un gorro para protegerse del sol, gafas de sol, y crema solar.

¿Que trofeos se pueden esperar obtener?El cuidado y gestión realizados nos permiten ofrecer cualquier trofeo deseado. El numero de guardas que tenemos y la estrecha vigilancia que esta especie tan especial y codiciada exige nos permite tener una

idea aproximada de donde y que animales tenemos en cada momento del año, por lo que podemos asegurar un porcentaje de conseguir el trofeo casi del 100%.

disponibilidad.Somos muy estrictos en cazar lo que se debe cuando se debe, cuidando las cuotas que nos autoimponemos. Por otro lado la caza del macho montes esta estrictamente regulada por la administración pública. Tenemos una serie de autorizaciones limitadas al año que se van asignándose según orden de petición mediante reserva y señal (que se descuenta del precio final). Alcanzada nuestra cuota de caza no atendemos ninguna petición más en esa temporada.

¿es importante la forma física?No es un requerimiento indispensable, pero permite llegar a los puntos más altos y disfrutar más de una experiencia única. Nuestros guardas siempre se adaptan a la velocidad del cazador, y están para facilitar la cacería al máximo. Por otro lado nuestros caballos, muy mansos y propios de la sierra de Gredos, facilitan mucho cualquier desplazamiento. Hemos contado con cazadores de gran experiencia en la caza y en la vida (80 años de edad) que han logrado su trofeo con gran satisfacción. Los límites se los marca cada uno dentro de una prudencia mínima.

Überblick zu haben, wo welche Steinböcke zu welcher Jahreszeit stehen, so dass wir Ihnen eine Erfolgsquote von fast 100% versichern können.

Verfügbarkeit?Wir achten streng auf Einhaltung der Jagdzeiten und haben selbstgesetzte Abschussquoten. Zusätzlich ist die Jagd auf den Spanischen Steinbock durch die öffentliche Verwaltung strikt reguliert. Wir haben in jedem Jahr eine begrenzte Zahl von Abschüssen, die auf der Basis „Wer zuerst kommt, mahlt zuerst“ vergeben werden, sobald die Anzahlung, die vom Endpreis abgezogen wird, geleistet ist. Wenn wir unsere Quote erreicht haben, können wir keine weiteren Buchungen vornehmen.

muss man in guter körperlicher form sein?Das ist kein unbedingtes Erfordernis, aber Fitness erlaubt Ihnen, die höchsten Berge zu besteigen und so ein einmaliges Erlebnis zu genießen. Unsere Führer passen sich dem Tempo ihres Jägers an und werden ihm die Jagd so weit wie möglich erleichtern. Zusätzlich sind unsere Pferde, die aus der Sierra de Gredos stammen, sehr geduldig und bringen Sie an jeden gewünschten Ort im Revier. Wir haben mit Jägern gejagt, die große Jagd- und Lebenserfahrung hatten (80 Jahre alt) und zu ihrer großen Freude ihren Steinbock bei uns erlegt haben. Sie legen die Grenzen Ihrer Leistungsfähigkeit fest, unsere Jagdführer sorgen für den gangbaren Weg.

желаемый трофей.Количество охраников и постояное наблюдение, которое требует даный вид деятельности, позвольает знать, приблизительно какие звери имеются в определеное время года, поэтому мы можем обеспечить стопроцентное получении трофеев.

наличие свободных местМы очень строги по отношению к тому, когда и сколько можно охотиться, неукоснительно следя за теми квотами, которые мы сами же устанавливаем. С другой стороны охота на горного самца очень строго регулируется местными властями. У нас есть годовые лимитированные авторизации, которые выдаются после подписания заявления и после резервирования (которая вычигывается из общей стоимости). После того как мы заканчиваем наш лимит на охоту мы не можем удовлетворять другие поступающие заявление на даный сезон.

Важна ли физическая подготовка (состояние)?Это не обязательное условие, однако, хорошая физическая подготовка позволяет достигать самых высоких вершин и насладиться не сравниваемым ни с чем опытом. Наши проводники стараются адаптироваться скорости охотников и помогают достигать максимального результата. С другой стороны наши

лошади очень послушные и привыкшые к тропам заповедника Гредос, отлично помогают в любом передвижении. У нас бывают охотники с большими охотничьим и жизненным опытом (даже 80 летнего возраста) которые выиграли свои трофеи с наибольшим удовольствием. Свои возможности определяют они сами в рамках минимального здравомыслия.
