UTILISATION

LEPAISSISSEUR ENTRANEMENT CENTRAL EUROPELECa pour fonction dpaissir au maximum les boues en pro-venance des stations dpuration deaux urbaines ouindustrielles. Il est utilis dans les petites ou moyennesinstallations.

FONCTIONNEMENT

Les effluents sont dirigs vers le centre du bassin dansune jupe de tranquillisation, do ils se rpartissent uni-formment et sans turbulence dans la zone dpaississe-ment. Les eaux de surverse sont rcupres dans un cani-

veau priphrique qui comporte un dversoir dents. Le dgazage et lpaississement des boues sont assu-

rs par des herses verticales fixes larbre dentra-nement.

Les boues paissies sont ramenes au centre du bassinpar les racles de fond rglables. Du puits boues, ellessont diriges, soit par pression hydrostatique, soit parpompage vers leur traitement final.

USE

Its function is to thicken to a maximum the sludge fromurban and industrial waste water treatment plants. Itis used in small or medium sized installations.

OPERATION

The effluent is channeled to the centre of the tank inthe influent well, from wich it is spread evenly andwithout turbulence over the thickening zone. The clean effluent overflows at the periphery, over a

saw toothed outlet weir. The degassing and thickening of the sludge is done

by the vertical pickets attached to the central driveshaft.

The thickened sludge is brought in toward the centreof the tank by ajustable scrapers. From the sludgehopper, the sludge is drawn off either by hydrostaticpressure or by pumping, towards the final proces-sing area.

CONSTRUCTION

- dune couronne dentranement,- dun tube central guid, dans sa partie basse, par unpalier fixe et, reli la couronne dentranement danssa partie haute,

- de deux bras composs dentretoises et de croisillonssur lesquels sont fixes la fois les herses verticaleset les racles boue rglables suivant la pente duradier,

- dun ensemble de tendeurs pour raidir la structuremtallique.

Protection de lensemble par galvanisation chaud(inox ou aluminium sur demande) pour les partieschaudronnes, et par deux couches de peintureantirouille pour les parties lectromcaniques.

La structure de lensemble est surdimensionne afindassurer un fonctionnement mcanique fiable etdurable.

CONSTRUCTION FEATURES

The Europelec thickener is made up mainly of the following : - an oversized geared motor, with respect to therequired torque,

- a spur gear drive,- a torque drive tube guided by a bottom bearing andlinked at the top to the spur gear drive,

- the vertical pickets and the adjustable bottonscrapers, fixed to the two truss arms,- a set of tension rods to stiffen the entire metalstructure.

The unit is protected by hot galvanization, for themetallic parts, and by two coats of rust-proof paint,for the electromechanical parts. (optionnal :aluminium or stainless steel).

The unit structure has been oversized so as toprovide reliable and durable mechanical operation.

UTILISATION

Le PONT RACLEUR EUROPELEC est prvu pour tre ins-tall dans tous les bassins de dcantation (dcanteur pri-maire ou secondaire) condition quils soient de formecirculaire. Il est utilis dune faon gnrale pour le trai-tement des eaux rsiduaires urbaines ou industrielles quicontiennent des matires lourdes pouvant dcanter rapi-dement, et o il est important de pouvoir extraire lesboues au fur et mesure de leur formation.

FONCTIONNEMENT

Leffluent est dirig par lintermdiaire dune colonne enacier ou bton dans le diffuseur central qui limine laplus grande partie de lnergie cintique possde parleffluent en lui imposant une dviation vers le bas.

La circulation de leffluent depuis le fond du diffuseurcentral vers lanneau extrieur de dcantation permetdobtenir un dbit radial constant et uniforme.

Leffluent clarifi sort alors du bassin travers desdversoirs dents.

La boue dcante sur le fond est pousse par deslames racleuses vers un puits au centre du bassin. Del, sous pression hydrostatique, la boue est vacue endehors du bassin.

Suivant le traitement utilis un dispositif dcumage desurface, avec rcupration automatique des flottantspeut-tre install.

UTILISATION

The EUROPELEC SCRAPER BRIDGE is designed for usein all sedimentation tanks (primary or secondary sedi-mentation), provided that they are round in shape. It is used in a general manner for treating domesticand industrial effluents containing heavy matter thatcan settle rapidly, and where it is important that thesludge can be removed as it is formed.

OPERATION

The effluent is fed by a steel or concrete tube into thecentral influent well, which eliminates most of theeffluents kinetic energy by forcing it downwards.

Feeding the effluent from the bottom of the centralchamber to the outer sedimentation ring enables aconstant and uniform radial distribution to be obtai-ned.

The clear effluent then leaves the tank by means ofsaw toothed outlet weir.

The slurry which settles on the bottom is pushed byrotating blades towards the well in the center of thetank. From there, the sludge is removed by hydro-static pressure.

Depending on the treatment used, a scum removalequipment can be fitted to the bridge to automaticallycollect any floating matter.

CONSTRUCTION MCANIQUE

Le pont racleur se compose dune poutrereconstitue en tle plie, renforce par un treillis surlaquelle viennent se fixer les gardes-corps deprotection, les racleurs de fond et ventuellement leracleur de surface.

Le systme de fixation rglable des accessoires sur lepont permet un montage et un ajustage sur le siterapide et ais.

Dans la partie centrale de louvrage, le pont reposesur un pivot constitu par une bute rouleauxdouble effet sur laquelle est fix un collecteur bagues servant alimenter lectriquement la ttedentranement.

la priphrie, la poutre est soutenue par une oudeux roues bandage caoutchouc ; dans les deuxcas, lentranement seffectue par laction dun moto-rducteur et sur une seule roue.

En priphrie de louvrage, il est prvu un ensemble dedversoir dents, et, en option, une cloison siphodemtallique permettant de piger les flottants ainsiquune trmie pour lvacuation des cumes. Protection de lensemble par galvanisation chaud

(inox ou aluminium sur demande), pour les partieschaudronnes et par deux couches de peinture anti-rouille, pour les parties lectromcaniques.

MECANICAL CONSTRUCTION

The scraper bridge is made of trussed section platesinterlaced for rigidity, covered by grating or other nonshippery materials. The handrailing, the bottomscapers and surface scrapers are fixed on the sidesof the bridge. Scrapers are quickly installed and easilyadjustable on site.

The center of the unit rests on a twin effects rollerbearing pivot (or a spur gear drive for larger units).This pivot holds the center ring collector for powersupply of the geared drive.

At the outer end, the bridge is supported by acarriage on one (or two according the diameter) heavyduty rubber coataed wheel. The geared motor driveacts on one whell only.

The clear water outlet is made through an adjustablesaw toothed outlet weir. A scum baffle traps thefloating materials which are led to a scum trough bythe surface scaper.

The equipement is hot dipped galvanized (optionnallyaluminium or stainless steel), except for electro-mechanical parts, painted.

Au creux de chaque racleur un tube aspire la boue parpression hydrostatique et la dverse dans la goulottesuspendue la passerelle du pont. Chacun de ces tubesest surmont sa sortie dune vanne tlescopique per-mettant de rgler le dbit.La boue rcupre ainsi dans la goulotte est refoule enpermanence par lintermdiaire dun siphon vers un clif-ford central. De l une conduite fixe permet son vacua-tion vers la suite du traitement.

UTILISATIONThe EUROPELEC SUCTION BRIDGE is designed for allflat bottom, circular shaped clarifiers.It allows the continuous settlement of heavy matters orsludge, and their removal.

OPERATION

The effluent is fed by a concrete or a steel tube to thecentral diffuser, which slows down the flow by a down-wards deviation.

The effluent moves in a radial and uniform way fromthe bottom of the influent well to the peripheral weir.

The heavier particles settle on the clarifier bottom,where they are drawn up by V shaped scraperblades. The clarified waters overflow at the peripheraloutlet weir.

The suction tubes use hydrostatic pressure to lead thesludge in the sludge gutter, fixed under the bridge.Each tube is equipped at the upper end with a telesco-pic valve to adjust the flow.The sludge collected is continuously driven by a siphonto a centre well from where it is discharged through acentral pipe.

CONSTRUCTION MECANIQUE

Le pont suceur se compose d'une poutrereconstitue en tle plie et renforce par un treillissur sa base infrieure. Sur cette poutre viennent sefixer les garde-corps de protection, la goulotte decollecte des boues, les racleurs de fond et/ou desurface.

Dans la partie centrale de l'ouvrage, le pont reposesur une couronne d'entranement et porte uncollecteur bagues servant alimenterlectriquement la motorisation.

En priphrie, un sommier porte la roue motrice bandage caoutchouc, entraine en direct par unmotorducteur et une roue folle.

Il est galement prvu : un ensemble de dversoirs dents et en option une cloison siphode mtalliquepermettant de piger les flottants ainsi quune trmiepour lvacuation des cumes.* Pour recevoir un avant-projet chiffr, nous indiquer lediamtre et la hauteur du bassin.

MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION
