Formé en 1969, Curved Air est un des groupes légendaires du rock progressif. Ils ont apporté beaucoup au genre musical notamment avec l'utilisation du violon de Darryl Way. Au sein du groupe, il y avait aussi la merveilleuse chanteuse Sonja Kristina, une des grandes voix de l'époque. En 1970, elle avait été désignée Meilleure Chanteuse Anglaise. A l'époque, le groupe avait hissé trois de leurs albums dans le top 20 britannique. Leur single "Back Street Luv" était même entré dans le top 10. C'est dire s'ils ont marqué leur temps. Aujourd'hui, le groupe s’est reformé et se relance sur les routes autour de Sonja Kristina, Darryl Way et Florian Pilkington Miksa Music In Belgium

This up and coming UK band made a name for themselves with their ambitious 2009 debut, a 20 track strong double al-bum clocking in at just over 90 minutes. A

CD that saw them nominated for, "Best Debut Al-bum", by the Italian Progawards website and voted as, "Best New/Unsigned Band", by the readers of UK magazine Classic Rock Presents Prog. IO Earth was initially the creative vehicle of Dave Cureton (guitars, vocals) and Adam Gough (keyboards, guitars). Close personal friends with a relationship going back a de-cade or so; both of them sharing the view that music should be innovative and transcend boundaries. Their initial production documents a band that enjoy an em-phasis on strong melodies and harmonic arrange-ments, this combined with quite a few nods in the direc-tion of symphonic progressive rock - liberally flavored with details from styles such as (but not limited to) jazz, industrial, world music and new age/ambient. While they started out as a creative duo, IO Earth became a full-fledged band project following the release of their debut album. Searching far and wide, high and low and possibly in some alternate dimensions too, Gough and Cureton managed to establish a unit of like-minded musical compatriots. Claire Malin (vocals), Richard Cureton (drums), Luke Shingler (flute, saxophone) and Christian Nokes (bass) make up the rest of this now 6 men and women strong ensemble.

Assembled in January 2010 with a monumental task, by February KcrimsonicK were already on stage performing a three songs set to open ex King Crimson violinist David Cross concert in Rome. In the following months, the band kept working and rehearsing the full setlist, including the most utterly complex and challenging music King Crimson ever played. KcrimsonicK point of reference is in fact the 1973/1974 Crimson incarnation, namely the one that recorded and released the amazing "Lark's Tongues in Aspic", "Starless and Bible Black" and "Red" trilogy. KcrimsonicK line up includes five top musicians: ex Le Orme keyboards and violin player Andrea Bassato, renewed bass player and session man Lorenzo Feliciati (Pat Mastelotto, Virgil Donati, Mitchell Forman), Daniele Pomo Drummer (Dionne Warvick,Graham Nash,Rovescio della Medaglia,Coordinator Drums faculty of Saint Louis music college of Rome,singer- founder of the Italian Prog Band RanestRane), Giacomo Anselmi guitarist (Goblin,Saint Louis music college educator) and Riccardo Romano keyboarder and vocalist ( co-founder RanestRane,Marillion's Steve Hogarth) The band will be performing the whole Red album and even songs that Crimson themselves never played live.... BAND OF FRIENDS A Celebration of RORY GALLAGHER’s MUSIC

There are many tribute bands playing the music of Rory Gallagher. Some good, some not so good but what they are doing is keeping the music of this great musician alive. Rory’s music reached a massive audience from Norway to Spain, from Japan to USA.. Covering alls parts of the globe and producing some of the greatest rock/blues albums of the 60s, 70s and the 80s…. Sadly we lost Rory on June 14th 1995… To his devoted fans and followers this was the ultimate trage-dy. The BAND OF FRIENDS is not a tribute to Rory, but more a celebration of his life and music. The band consists of musicians who really played with Rory throughout his career.

Tribute to Following the success of the FREE Black Moon download Pallas will be start-ing the New Year with two more freebies. The first is a radical 'Big Band' remix of Monster and the second is a downloadable Pallas Artwork calendar. Both of the downloads will be available from the 6th of January at http://www.pallasxxv.com As well as the 2 new downloads, Black Moon and Monster (radio edit) are also still available from the site. The band are also pleased to announce that, to tie in with their European Tour they are releasing a Live DVD Pallas Live at Loreley (The Night of The Prog). Filmed at their show closing performance at The Night of The Prog Festival in 2010 it will be released in late January with advance copies being available vie the band's website (see above). It is also hoped that the DVD will come with 'special treats' for fans.2012 will continue with Pallas beginning pre production on the follow up album to XXV before the band hit the road in late Feb/March for a series of UK and European shows.
