1- GENERAL INFORMATIONThe precautions listed in this documentation provide important instructions regarding the safety, operation and servicing of the equipment.To ensure maximum safety, hygiene and performance, it is recommended to carefully fi le all documentation near the equipment and to deliver it to technicians and operators responsible for its use.The choice of materials and manufacture of products complies with EC safety directives. Moreover, complete testing of all machines guarantees the quality of this equipment.Compliance with the recommendations included in this manual is essential in order to ensure the safety of machine instal-lation/operation and of the user.The manufacturer, retailer and authorised service centres are available to clarify all doubts regarding the use and installa-tion of the equipment.The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes without any prior notice in order to make the improvements deemed necessary.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE PROVIDED INSTRUCTIONS SHALL COMPROMISE THE SAFETYOF THE EQUIPMENT AND RESULT IN THE IMMEDIATE INVALIDATION OF THE WARRANTY TERMS.

This manual constitutes an integral part of the machine and must therefore be kept for the entire life of the equipment.

The manufacturer is released from all liability in the following circumstances:

- improper use of the machine;- incorrect installation, not performed according to the procedures listed herein;- defective power supply;- serious shortcomings in the proposed maintenance schedule;- unauthorised modifi cations or tampering;- use of non-original spare parts or parts not specifi cally designed for the model in question;- total or partial failure to comply with instructions.

After-sales technical assistance is guaranteed by the manufacturer through its network of retailers - dealers and installers. To receive technical assistance, contact your authorised retailer and provide the details of your equipment, found on the serial ID plate.

Precautions relative to hazards posed by electrical parts. Risk of electric shock, burns and fi re:

- Only qualifi ed technicians are allowed to access electrical parts.- Do not touch the machine with damp or wet hands and feet.- Do not use the machine with bare feet.- Do not insert fi ngers or objects or tools through the grilles or air inlets.- Do not pull on the power cord.- Do not wash the machine with jets of water.- Before performing maintenance or cleaning operations, disconnect the machine from the electrical power supply from the main switch and disconnect the power cord.- In the event of fl ooding in the room where the machine is installed, contact an authorised service centre to perform the necessary repairs before using the machine again.- When the machine is not being used, disconnect it from the electrical power supply.

Precautions relative to general hazards. Risk of injury:

- Presence of sharp parts. Use protective gloves when performing any operations on the machine.- The machine can be safely handled using suitable means, taking care to avoid damage to persons and property.- Presence of fans in motion. Do not remove the protective grilles.- Read the ID plate to identify the type of refrigerant gas used in the machine: the gas may be fl ammable.- In the event of a fl ammable gas leak from the machine’s cooling circuit, disconnect the power cord, open the windows to ventilate the room and immediately contact the technical service centre.- In the event of a refrigerant gas leak, do not touch or inhale the leaking gas.- After installing or repairing the machine, always check for any refrigerant gas leaks.- Presence of air fl ows. Do not directly expose people to cold or hot air fl ows.- Do not obstruct air inlets or outlets.- Presence of non-drinking water. Do not drink the water drained by the machine.- To avoid the contamination of food, the latter must not be brought into direct contact with the machine but rather stored in suitable containers.- Presence of high or low temperature gas tubes. Before touching the tubes, check their temperature. Use suitable protec-tive gloves.- Presence of Plexy parts. Do not strike Plexy parts with force.- In the case of anomalous noise, odours or fumes coming from the machine, disconnect the power cord and contact an authorised service centre.- Do not install the machine in places directly exposed to salty sea air or direct sunlight.



6- UNPACKING

Before removing the packaging, make sure it is intact. If not, note any defects on the courier delivery slip before signing it. After removing the packaging, check that the device is intact; if it is damaged, promptly inform the retailer by fax or regis-tered post, and if the damage is such that it compromises the safety of the machine, do not proceed with installation until a qualifi ed technician has inspected the machine.Packaging elements (plastic bags, cardboard boxes, nails, etc.) must not be left within reach of children and domestic animals insofar as they represent a hazard.

7- POSITIONINGThe machine must be installed and tested in total compliance with health and safety laws, traditional regulatory standards and current legislation.The installer must check for any restrictions imposed by local authorities.

Avoid:- Places exposed to direct sunlight.- Closed areas characterised by high temperatures and poor ventilation.

Remove the protective PVC fi lm from all sides.

To ensure the correct installation of machines with incorporated air condenser, check the installation area to ensure that air inlets necessary for the correct operation of the machine or rooms are not obstructed. Maintain a minimum distance of 50 cm from the sides where the air inlets and outlets are located.The machine must be installed and levelled by adjusting the supporting feet, so as to guarantee its stability; all other installation solutions must be agreed to and approved by the manufacturer. Use suitable lifting means to level heavy ma-chines.If the equipment is not levelled, its operation and the fl ow of condensate may be compromised.If the unit is supplied on wheels, position it in a fl at area and secure it before powering the equipment.

If the machine is of modular type of cell with bottom panel placed on the fl oor, it is necessary to fi x the bottom panelto the fl oor with appropriate brackets ( not supplied ) and to seal it using specifi c silicone.If the machine is of modular type of cell with bottom panel built-in in the fl oor, it is necessary to provide and guaranteethe air fl ow under and at the edges of the fl oor to avoid the formation of condensation water.For the movement of the machinery, it is not recommended to incline it or to recline it. If for any reason this operationis necessary, wait 24 hours after positioning the machine before starting it up, thus allowing the oil to return to thecompressor and preventing it from breaking.



8- POWER CONNECTION400V 3-PHASE VERSIONS OF THE EQUIPMENT ARE SUPPLIED WITHOUT A PLUG FOR CONNECTION TO THE POWER LINE.

THE MANUFACTURER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIMS RESULTING FROM CONNECTIONS MADE BY THE USER OR UNQUALIFIED PERSONNEL

- Check the condition of the power cord; if it is damaged, have it immediately replaced by qualifi ed personnel.- The electrical power supply must be compatible with the instructions reported on the machine’s wiring diagram.- To make the connection, an omnipolar main breaker switch is required, which interrupts all contacts including the neu-tral, with a distance between open contacts of at least 3 mm with magnetothermic trip unit and coupled with fuses, which must be dimensioned or calibrated in accordance with the power indicated on the machine plate.- The main breaker must be located on the power line near the installation and must serve onlyone device at a time.- An effi cient GROUNDING system must already exist, to which the machine must be connected.- Adaptors, power boards, incompatible wire gauges or extension cords that do not comply with current regulations, must not be used.- For details on the electrical operating principle, see the attached machine wiring diagram.- The power cord must not be pulled or crushed during normal operation orroutine maintenance.

9- INTENDED USE

Blast chillers and shock freezers are machines used to rapidly cool food, both to prevent the spread of food bacteria and to maintain the qualities, fl avour, aromas and texture of chilled food.

These machines are used in three distinct ways:

- Temperature reduction of food down to +3°C.- Freezing of food down to -18°C.- Thawing of food up to max +10°C.

Machines defi ned as ALL IN ONE can also be used for the following purposes:

- Slow cooking at low temperature- Proving

Bast chiller users can set the cooling or cooking cycle most suited to the food being handled.

At the end of their cycle, blast chillers and shock freezers can also store food at a constant temperature, but only for a limited time, at most for two days.These machines are in fact not temperature maintaining devices



10- RULES OF USE-Do not stack foods that need to be blast chilled and/or frozen.

-Do not exceed the declared number of kilograms and distribute the product evenly in the trays.

-Blast chilling and shock freezing times always refer to products with a maximum thickness of 40 mm.

-Cool the chamber before performing a blast chilling cycle.

-Blast chill only one type of food at a time; different foods have different densities and therefore cycle executiontimes may vary.

-The core probe must be correctly positioned at the centre of the largest piece of the product, and thetip must never exit the product and/or touch the tray.

-To prevent the core probe from breaking, do not insert it into foods characterised by a temperature higher than 100°C.

-The core probe must always be cleaned after use to avoid malfunctioning.

-Do not cover foods with a lid or other object; the more isolated the product is, the more time will beneeded for blast chilling

-If foods are inserted with a temperature greater than 70°C, the machine may be overloaded, increasingblast chilling times and power consumption.

-Do not obstruct the ventilation air inlets.

-The water drip tray in the blast cell must be positioned under the equipment in the dedicated tracks.

-Make sure the drain pipe is positioned inside the drip tray and free it from any obstructions.

-The drip tray must be regularly emptied; to do so, simply extract the tray from the tracks, empty it and re-insert it back into the tracks.

-For climate class 5 equipment, EN 60335-2-89 conformity tests (chapters 10, 11, 13) are performed at a room tempera-ture of 43°C ±2°C.

-The machineries with incorporated condensing unit are not built-in devices.

-Do not store explosive substances, such as pressurised containers with fl ammable propellants, in this device.

11- CLEANING DO NOT USE JETS OF PRESSURISED WATER OR STEAM.

CLEANING THE EXTERNAL UNITThe external unit must be cleaned with a damp cloth moistened with a water and bicarbonate solution, or other neutral detergents, and dried with a soft cloth.

CLEANING THE DISPLAYThe display must be cleaned with a clean, soft cloth (free of powders and slag), moistened with water and soap or water and alcohol at a maximum of 10%. Other detergents or dirty and dry cloths may ruin the material. Dry with a soft, clean cloth.

CLEANING THE INTERNAL COMPARTMENTRemove the trays, grilles and tracks that can be cleaned like the internal compartment, clean with a damp cloth mois-tened in a water and bicarbonate solution, or other neutral detergents, and dry with a soft cloth.

CLEANING THE CORE PROBEEach time the blast chiller is used together with the core probe, the latter must be cleaned with a damp sponge moistened with a water and bicarbonate solution.

CLEANING THE CONDENSER (MAINTENANCE)To ensure the machine's correct operation, the condenser must be kept clean to ensure the free circulation of air. This operation must be performed every 120 days at most. The condenser must be cleaned with a soft-bristle brush so as to remove all dust and fl uff deposited on the condenser fan blades.Alternatively, it is preferable to use a vacuum cleaner to prevent the spread of dust into the atmosphere. In the case of oil deposits, it is recommended to remove them using a brush dipped in alcohol.

12- MACHINE DISPOSAL

Machine demolition and disposal must occur in compliance with current regulations in the country of installation, particu-larly in the case of the refrigerant gas and air compressor lubricant.

Below are the information for the user for the correct handling of electric and electronic devices (WEEE) with referenceto the Directive 2011/65/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 8th June 2011, with national legislation and their further modifi cations:- RAEE must not be disposed of as urban waste; said waste must be sorted;- Public or private waste collection systems provided for by local laws must be used for their disposal. At the end of its useful life, the device can also be returned to the distributor if a new, equivalent device is purchased;- This device may contain hazardous substances: improper use or incorrect disposalmay have a negative impact on human health and the environment;- The symbol (crossed-out wheelie bin) shown on the product and to the side, indicates that the device was released onto the market after 13th August 2005 and must be sorted separately.- If electrical and electronic waste is incorrectly disposed of, users shall be subject to fi nes in accordance with current local waste disposal regulations.

13- INTERFACE AND CYCLESMulti-purpose blast chiller models are equipped with an electronic power board known as the “Controller” and an interface with a 7” resistive touchscreen display.

The user interface is also equipped with a USB connector to transfer HACCP data and for programming, an SD memo-ry card SLOT (32 x 24 x 2.1 mm) onto which demonstration videos can be uploaded, and SIM CARD SLOTS (Mini-SIM 25x15x0.76 mm) to send alarm and end cycle notifi cations via SMS, and to receive SMS notifi cations, which are dis-played on the screen.Once the HOME PAGE has opened up, the following icons will be available:

BLAST CHILLING : to start an automatic / custom / manual blast chilling cycle

SHOCK FREEZING : to start an automatic / custom / manual shock freezing cycle

14 - FOOD PROBEThe food or core probe has a resolution of 0.1°C and an operating range between -55°C and +105°C.The temperature is measured in 4 different points highlighted in the fi gure below. Multipoint management is needed to detect the exact core of the product, to understand whether the probe has been inserted into the product and which measuring points are found outside the product itself.

The following types of food probes are available for blast chillers:

a- multipoint probeb- heated multipoint probe (optional)

c- wireless multipoint probe (optional)



15 - COOLING AND HEATING FUNCTIONOnce it has been decided whether to execute a BLAST CHILLING or SHOCK FREEZING cycle, the multi-purpose blast chiller enters into cell COOLING mode. This phase lasts for an undetermined period of time at the discretion of the user, who will decide when to start the blast chilling or shock freezing cycles.

Note that bringing the AIR temperature of the cell down to a very low value compared to room temperature before starting a blast chilling or shock freezing cycle, not only reduces the total cycle time, but also allows the correct and consistent mi-cro-crystallisation of food, thus reducing product weight loss and guaranteeing fl avour, aromas and texture similar to that of the product when fresh.

Once it has been decided whether to proceed with a THAWING, SLOW COOKING or PROVING cycle, the multi-purpose blast chiller enters into cell HEATING mode. This phase lasts for an undetermined period of time at the discretion of the user, who will decide when to start the thawing, slow cooking or proving cycles.

Remember that the THAWING cycle occurs through forced cell ventilation in standard models, and through cell heating in ALL IN ONE models. Moreover, SLOW COOKING and PROVING cycles are available in ALL IN ONE models only

Note that bringing the AIR temperature of the cell up to a higher value than room temperature before starting a thawing, slow cooking or proving cycle, signifi cantly reduces the total cycle time while also guaranteeing fl avour, aromas and texture similar to that of the product when fresh.



16- OPERATING CYCLESThe multi-purpose blast chiller manages multiple operating cycles, which are described in the following chapters.

During the cycles, the display shows the following information :

Top section :

Current date and time, title of cycle in progress.

Bottom section :

Communication status between the electronic power board and the display, line status of GSM if present, WI-FI probe sig-nal status and probe battery status, arrow keys to scroll through the menu screens and a key to return to the Home Page.

There are two types of fi rmware for the multi-purpose blast chillers, CULINARY and PATISSERIE. The two fi rmwares are distinguished by food type and their screen: a blue background for CULINARY and green background for PATISSERIE.

16.1 - STARTUPWhen the machine is off, this is indicated by the writing STAND-BY on the display

To access the different menus, press the red squares from left to right, in order, until all three are lit green.

The display will open the HOME PAGE screen, where the desired cycles can be selected.



16.2 - SHUTDOWNTo shut down the machine, press the shutdown key in the bottom right corner.

The machine will enter into STAND-BY mode.



16.3- AUTOMATIC BLAST CHILLING CYCLEThe BLAST CHILLING cycle is used to rapidly cool foods until obtaining a fi nal positive core temperature of +3°C.

With the machine in STAND-BY mode, press the three red squares in order, as described in chapter 15.1.

Once the HOME PAGE has opened up, proceed as follows:

Press the BAST CHILLING icon to access the relative menu

Once the BLAST CHILLING cycle has been selected, the machine will enter COOLING mode, indicating the air temperature inside the cell

and the time passed since the cycle was selected.

Press the RIGHT ARROW to access the actual selected cycle.



Select one of the food categories in the menu

Select the desired AUTOMATIC cycle

16.4- CUSTOM BLAST CHILLING CYCLEThe BLAST CHILLING cycle is used to rapidly cool foods until obtaining a fi nal positive product temperature.

With the machine in STAND-BY mode, press the three red squares in order, as described in chapter 15.1.Once the HOME PAGE has opened up, proceed as follows:


Once the BLAST CHILLING cycle has been selected, the machine will enter COOLING mode, indicating the air temperature inside the cell and the time passed since the cycle was selected.





Select the icon for the CUSTOM cycle

There are two types of CUSTOM cycles :

To set the different values, press the grey box relative to the desired parameter

16.9- PRESERVATION CYCLEThe aim of the PRESERVATION cycle is to maintain a constant air temperature value in the cell, in order to maintain products at preselected temperatures.

Once the OK key has been pressed, the operating data will be displayed on the screen. The cycle can be ended at any time by pressing the STOP key. For 8-10-15T machines, the cycle is automatically interrupted after 48 hours, with a cycle interruption warning sent 1 hour beforehand.



16.10 - THAWING CYCLEThe THAWING cycle is used to raise the temperature of food from a negative to a positive value. For this scope, the mul-ti-purpose blast chillers feature two different types of thawing methods :

- Cell ventilation- Cell heating (ALL IN ONE models only)

Once the THAWING cycle has been selected, the machine will enter HEATING mode, indicating the air temperature

inside the cell and the time passed since the cycle was selected.



The THAWING cycle is subdivided into two types :

16.11 - SLOW COOKING CYLCE (ALL IN ONE MODELS ONLY)The SLOW COOKING cycle (available in ALL IN ONE models only) is used to slow cook foods, bringing the core temper-ature up to a maximum of 75°C.

Remember that the user must be present during the cycle, insofar as once the product core temperature is reached, or once the cooking time has run out, the machine will stop without any subsequent preservation phase.

Once the SLOW COOKING cycle has been selected, the machine will enter HEATING mode, indicating the air tempera-

ture inside the cell and the time passed since the cycle was selected.



The SLOW COOKING cycle is subdivided into two types :

16.12 - PROVING CYLCE (ALL IN ONE MODELS ONLY)The PROVING cycle (available in ALL IN ONE models only) is used to prove products based on a set time and cell tem-perature.

Remember that in PROVING cycles, the machine does not enter PRESERVATION mode.



16.13 - COMBY CYCLE (ALL IN ONE MODELS ONLY)The multi-purpose blast chiller includes the possibility to manage COMBY operating cycles, where it is possible to pro-gramme a sequence of all cycles, from thawing to proving and slow cooking, and fi nally blast chilling or shock freezing and maintenance.

Once the COMBY cycle has been selected, a curve will be shown on the screen displaying the icons of the different cy-cles.

The order of cycles is therefore :

- Thawing- Proving- Slow cooking- Blast chilling- Thawing- Preservation



To select the various types of cycles, proceed as follows and as previously explained for each case.

Select the starting cycle. If Thawing is selected, the second phase can be Proving or Slow Cooking. If Proving or Slow Cooking is selected, it will not be possible to select Thawing.

Set the cycle operating parameters as explained in chapters : 15.10 - 15.11 - 15.12

Depending on the selection, the relevant section of the curve will light up in green.

The preservation icon is not lit, but is needed to remind users that once the cycle has ended, the machine will enter pres-ervation mode as previously explained.

If the cycles include the use of the food probe, the user will be prompted to insert the probe.

The comby cycle will be interrupted when the the last step has been completed.

The end of the cycle will be indicated by way of a buzzer, which makes a sound. Press the display to silence the buzzer. Once the cycle has ended, the machine will enter PRESERVATION mode.




16.14 - FOOD PROBE EXTRACTION (MODELS WITH HEATED PROBE ONLY)The heated food probe is available as an optional. This probe is associated with shock freezing cycles, insofar as once the product is frozen, it may be diffi cult to extract the probe itself. Extraction is therefore facilitated by heating the probe.

Once the PROBE EXTRACTION cycle has been selected, the function will begin and will last for 60 seconds. At the end

of this time, the STOP key must be pressed to return to the initial screen.



16.15 STERILIZATION (OPTIONAL)The ozone sterilization kit is available as an optional. If installed, the function described below will be active :

Once the STERILIZATION cycle has been selected, the function will begin and will last for 300 seconds. At the end of this

time, the STOP key must be pressed to return to the initial screen.



16.16 - DEFROSTINGThe DEFROSTING cycle is used to clean the evaporator and is active only in air mode.

Once the DEFROSTING cycle has been selected, the function will begin and will last for 600 seconds. At the end of this

time, the STOP key must be pressed to return to the initial screen.



16.17 - MANUAL CYCLE MULTILEVEL FUNCTIONA MULTILEVEL function is available for both manual BLAST CHILLING and SHOCK FREEZING cycles: for each tray, it is possible to set a timer to indicate the end of the cycle; the user will be notifi ed by the buzzer when a tray has completed the cycle and therefore needs to be removed from the blast chiller.Remember that when the last timer sounds, the machine will automatically switch to PRESERVATION mode.

When the set time runs out for each individual tray, the buzzer makes a sound, which is interrupted after either 60 sec-onds or when the door is opened to remove the ready tray.When the last timer sounds, the machine enters PRESERVATION mode.




16.18 - ACTIVE CYCLE FUNCTION DISPLAY During an active cycle, the following FUNCTIONS can be displayed :

17 - OPTIONS MENUFrom the MORE menu, using the OPTIONS icon it is possible to access functions to customise, calibrate and view infor-mation on the multi-purpose blast chiller.

17.3 - HACCPFrom this menu, it is possible to view a list of all executed cycles and relative progress graphs.

From the OPTIONS menu, press the HACCP icon to access the list

Select the day, month and year to view the cycles executed on a specifi c date

Press the Search Data key

Select the cycle for which data needs to be viewed



The graph of the executed cycle is subsequently displayed, with details relative to :

Start date and time, End date and time, Max Time, Min Time. Total power consumption and cycle time.

To exit the HACCP menu, press the key as shown in the fi gure.

To return to the previous screen and view different data, press the left arrow.



17.4 - ENERGYFrom this menu, it is possible to view the power consumption, power supply values and GSM battery status if included as an optional.

Once the selection has been made, the display will show the video, at the end of which the video selection screen will open up again



To exit, press the home key.

Confi rm the decision to exit the menu.

Several videos on blast chiller maintenance are also available. The SERVICE menu, which can only be accessed with a password, will be explained in a separate chapter of the operation & maintenance manual.



17.7 - LANGUAGEFrom this menu it is possible to select the language of the various menus. The available languages are:

Press the clock icon to save the settings and return to the OPTIONS menu



17.9 - DISPLAYFrom this menu, it is possible to adjust the screen brightness, screen saver time and message displayed on the screen when the machine is turned on or off.

17.11 - USB HACCPFrom this menu, it is possible to download HACCP data, cycle settings and update the display and electronic power board fi rmware.

Open the right hatch to access the USB connection. Insert a USB pendrive

Press the Backup HACCP icon to upload the data onto the pendrive.

When the operation is fi nished, remove the pendrive as prompted by the display.Press the left arrow key to exit the menu.

The saved fi le is a compressed archive named HACCP.zip. Once you extract the archive, you will have a list of *.CSV fi le which can be opened in EXCEL.

The name of the fi le contains the following informations : DATE ( year, month, day ), TIME ( hours, minutes ) and type of performed cycle, eg.: 1704190817P_4_ABB.csv:i.e.: year = 2017 month = 04 day= 19 hour = 08 minute= 17 cyle type = P ( P= probe / T= time ) _ 4 ( progressive cycle number ) _ ABB ( ABB = blast chilling, LIE = proving, CON= preservation, SCO=thawing, FRE=freezing, COT= slow cooking)

If the machinery is used approximately for 6 hours per day, the internal memory will be depleted over 1 year afterwhich, the most recent data will take the place of the older ones (FIFO transit method). The occupied memory space depends on the cycle number and duration.



17.11.1 - USB SETUPFrom the USB menu, it is also possible to export and import custom cycles :

Export setup :


Open the right hatch to access the USB connection. Insert a USB pendrive

Press the Export Setup icon to upload the data onto the pendrive

Remove the pendrive as prompted by the display. Press the left arrow key to exit the menu.



Import setup :


Open the right hatch to access the USB connection.

Insert a USB pendrive

Press the Import Setup icon to upload the data onto the pendrive

In order to reload the parameters, the blast chiller will automatically turn off and then on again

until the home page appears. The pendrive can now be removed from the USB port.



17.11.2 - SOFTWARE UPDATEFrom the USB menu, it is also possible to update the display and electronic power board fi rmware:Remember that fi rmware updates must necessarily be performed in the order Display - Controller, in order to prevent any machine communication/operational errors.

Update Touch Screen :




Press the Update Touch Screen icon.

The display update will begin once the pendrive has been located.At the end of the update, the display will turn on again and the home page will automatically appear.Remove the pendrive only once the home page has appeared. If the pendrive is removed before this operation is com-plete, machine functions may be compromised.



Update Software:




Press the Update Touch Screen icon.

Select the type of machine on which the update will be performed :

The process will take a few minutes for completion, the status will be indicated by the colour of the squareRed = update not executed due to missing fi leGreen = update successfully completedPink = update interrupted due to lack of communicationYellow = update in progress.

At the end of the process, the house icon will appear in the lower right corner. Press the key to exit the programming mode and enter the STAND-BY mode.



17.12 - PASSWORDFrom this menu, it is possible to set a machine access password (a value of 0000 indicates that a password has not been set) :

ENTRY : password blocking the machine to prevent unauthorised personnel from using the blast chiller; protects only the “home page” screen and is requested in Stand-by mode, Screen Saver mode and when the software is being launched.

SERVICE: password allowing access to any level and environment, even if protected by ENTRY and CHEF codes, which also provides access to the service menu and video service help menu; this password is reserved to technical assistance personnel only and cannot be edited

From the OPTIONS menu, press the PASSWORD icon to access the information

Press the numeric fi eld in the ENTRY section to set the value

Key in the new 4-character password

18- ALARMS LIST

If there is a malfunction, the user will be notifi ed by the buzzer. The buzzer can be silenced by pressing the key and opening the alarm list screen. To delete the alarm, the user must exit the current procedure and place the display in STAND-BY mode.

The alarm status will remain until the cause of the alarm has been eliminated.

Following is a table listing the possible alarms in the event of a machine malfunction:
