MASTER OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS (MIB)

The Master of International Business (MIB) graduate program in Paris Dauphine University is designed to train managers to international business management using the latest project management and change leadership methods, and the most recent information and communication technologies. This degree is design and delivered in partnership with the MBA of San Francisco State University (USA) and the MIB of Georgia State University, Atlanta (USA). After completion of the program, the students may finish an MBA at SFSU or an MIB at GSU in less than 9 month. All courses are taught in English.

OBJECTIVES

After completion of the Master of International Business, the graduates are able to: - Manage business projects at the international level; - Communicate and manage change using the latest leadership approaches; - Create marketing plans and business plans for international business; - Use the latest information and communication technologies for management; - Act as business consultants for the international development of corporations; - Analyse competitors and stakeholders at the international level; - Bargain for partnership for international trade of goods and services; - Implement Business Process Management (BPM) in corporations; - Manage resistance to change and build business visions including cultural references; - Motivate people in corporations and manage teamwork in a cross-cultural context.

METHOD

The Master of International Business may be delivered abroad through a combination of - On-site teaching by Professors coming from Paris Dauphine University; - On-site teaching by managers coming from French consulting groups and high tech companies (CSC, Cap Gemini, IBM, France Télécom, DSDM, Mediargie, Comverse,…) - Local teachers holding a PhD; e-learning technologies (especially including WebCT, moodle or dockeos) Paris Dauphine University is also ranked among the top 20 executive education in management by Le Nouvel Economist. It has the highest number of academic publications in organization and decision sciences according to the CNRS (French equivalent to NSF). Each year, the number of PhD graduates in organization and decision sciences is the highest in France, especially in manage-ment.
