Complémentaires en toute chose, Patrick Gilles et Dorothée Boissier maîtrisent, avant tout, l’art du désaccord.

Ils entretiennent une opposition constructive qui équilibre chaque projet. Si lui affectionne les lignes rigoristes et les plus belles essences de bois, dans le sillage de Christian Liaigre auprès duquel il fit ses classes, elle harmonise le tout en douceur avec des accents fluides et une touche émotionnelle héritée de l’école de Starck. C’est donc nourris par cette contradiction essentielle qu’ils signent en duo des projets créatifs dont l’élégance et la maturité sont plébiscitées par tous.

Leur but : représenter l’art de vivre à la française au travers d’une association créative, complexe mais stimulante, à mener en couple.

Complimentary in every way, Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier master above all the art of discord. They maintain a constructive opposition which balances each project. Whilst he is fond of rigoristic lines and the most beautiful essences of wood, influenced by his teachings under Christian Liaigre, she harmonises the whole concept with smooth accents and an emotional touch learnt from her years spent alongside Philippe Starck.

Hence it is through this essential contradiction that this talented duo sign creative projects, which are internationally recognized for their elegance and maturity. Their aim: represent French lifestyle through a complex, creative and stimulating collaboration as a couple.

Pour créer cette collection Patrick Gilles s’est inspiré de la lampe Aurore revisitée pour la manufacture de cristal Baccarat, dont les pans de cristal facetté évoquent la parfaite transparence de l’eau.

C’est dans ce cheminement créatif que s’inscrit le robinet « Les Ondes », composé d’une base en décaèdre – 10 faces – et surmonté d’un croisillon en forme de trident, en hommage à l’emblème de Neptune, dieu des mers et des océans.

Classique et moderne à la fois, cette collection apporte une réponse à une décoration intemporelle, une certaine élégance « à la française ».

To create this collection, Patrick Gilles found his inspiration in the Aurore lamp revisited for the Baccarat crystal manufacture. Its faceted crystal sides recall the perfect transparency of water.

The tap “Les Ondes” originates from this very creative process. It is made of a 10-faceted base on top of which sits a trident-shaped brace reminiscent of the attribute of Neptune, god of seas and oceans.

This collection, both classical and modern, is a perfect fit for a timeless decoration suffused with French elegance.
