I - INTRODUCTION:
II - PROPERTY:
At the reauest of W. Waychison, geophysical surveys
were undertaken, during the month of November, 1993,
by Exploration Services Reg'd, on the "Kalyniuk"
property. This property, owned by Gold Fields
Canadian Mining Ltd. is presently under option to
Santa Fe Pacific Mining Inc.
The magnetometer survey and the V. L. F. electroma
gnetic survey were carried out in an attempt to
outline possible gold-bearing structures such as
fault zones and geological contacts.
The "Kalyniuk" property consists of a rectangular
block of 16 forty acre claims locate in Catharine
township, Ontario. The claims are numbered as fellows

previously cut grid whose 5 200' long base line
l strikes at 270 0 ; cross lines, spaced at every 400'
intervals extend northwards for a distance of 4 000'
™ Thus, a total of 12.6 miles have been covered by the
flj surveys:
l A) Magnetometer Survey:
l
l
An E. D. A. nuclear precession magnetometer with
accompanying base station were used to carry out
the survey; readings were taken at every 50*
l intervals.
The magnetic data were plotted on maps at the scale
of 1" s 200' and also on coloured maps at the scale
of 1" = 500'.
lA strong magnetic pattern has been partially
l outlined in the western part of the surveyed area,
m t rending in a northerly direction. This anomaly
is probably caused by a north-south trending diabase
l dyke located within the Misema River bed.
l A few other small magnetic anomalies have been
M outlined on the property, these appear to be
randomly distributed. They probably indicate the
l presence of mafic intrusives within the volcanic
sequences.

- 4 -l l
B) V L F Electromagnetic Survey:
l— A Geonic's EM-16 unit was used for the survey;
* readings were taken at every 100' intervals tuned
l to station NAA (24.0 KHz.).
l The data were plotted on a map at the scale of
1" = 200"; a coloured Frazer Filter map was also
B produced at the scale of 1" = 500'.
Numerous conductors have been outlined by the
l survey; these are briefly described as follows:
Conductor "A":l
Segmented conductor "A" traverses the northern part
l of the grid in an east-west direction between cross
line 48 W and cross line 0; its optimum response
has been observed on line O - the conductor axis
crosses line O at 30 N.
Conductor "B":
l
ll Conductor "B" is located in the southern half of the
m g rid area between cross line 44 W and cross line 0.
This long conductor trends in a southeasterly
l dir ection. Its strongest response has been
outlined on cross line 16 W. The conductor axis

intercepts this line at 9 N.
lConductor "C":
fl This E.M. anomaly has been observed on 4 lines only;
it intercepts line 30 W at 15 N and line 24 W at
l 17 N. This anomaly trends east-northeast. Its
strongest response occurs on line 28 W.
m C onductor "D":
l This short but relatively strong anomaly trends
east-west intersecting lines 28 W, 24 W and 20 W at
l 13 N.
Conductor "E":l
lCurved conductor "E" is located in the southwestern
I corner of the property - it is parallel to conductor
B" for most of its length. The strongest response""M
observed occurs on line 36 W where the intercept is
at 10 N.
Conductor "F":
l
l
™ This relatively weak but pervasive anomaly trends
l northeast from 9 N on line 28 W to 25 N on line 0
l- SERVICES EXPLORATION ENRQ.-
- 6 -
Conductor "6":
l l l
Observed on 2 lines only, conductor "G" intercepts
™ lines 40 W and 36 W in the vicinity of 5 N. It is
B very strong on line 36 W. This anomaly may extend
southwestwards beyond the surveyed area*
lConductor "H":
B Located in the southeast corner of the grid, this
anomaly trends east-northeast between line 24 W and
l line 8 W. It is trong along its entire length.
m C onductors "I" and "J" have been observed on one lint
m only.
ll V - CONCLUSIONS R RECOMMENDATIONS:
The magnetometer survey has partially outlined a
l major magnetic pattern in the western part of the
grid indicating the presence of a north-south
l trending diabase dyke. The magnetometer survey has
m a lso outlined small anomalies, randomly distributed,
and indicating the presence of small mafic intrusive
l
l- SERVICES EXPLORATION ENRO.
- 7 -l l
The V L F electromagnetic survey has outlined
l numerous conductors, most of which trend east-south-
east. These E.M. anomalies may indicate the
™ presence of fault zones and or shears.
lIn order to further evaluate the gold potential of
l the property, it is recommended that an induced
polarization survey be carried out.
