Tape drives new, innovative use casesEfficient digitization and cloud access

Leverage LTO and LTFS– The right amount of data on spinning disk– A better amount of data on tape– Highly cost effective cloud infrastructure

– Lower costs and better customer service

What’s new:– New IBM Linear Tape File System Enterprise Edition

extends LTFS functionality to include use and policy management of tape as a 2nd storage tier in GPFS-based tiered disk environments

T3Media“LTO 5 - 6 and LTFS significantly reduce the ancillary costs around storage. This is a real game-changer from IBM”
