La formation est organisée par certaines ligues et dure 75 heures (dont 15 heures en club).L’initiateur participe bénévolement à l’initiation collective des jeunes âgés de 18 ans au maximum dans les clubs affi liés à la Fédération Française de Tennis.
La formation est organisée dans les centres habilitéspar les directions régionales de la jeunesse, des sports et de la Cohésion sociale. Elle se déroule en alternance : • 700 heures en centre de formation ; • 500 heures en club.
Pour postuler à l’entrée en formation, il faut :Pour postuler à l’entrée en formation, il faut :

avoir une expérience de 90 heures d’enseignement ou être titulaire du CQP AMT.
Il faut en outre satisfaire aux tests de sélection qui comprennent un écrit, un oral, une séquence pédagogique et une démonstration technique.Le moniteur de tennis peut intervenir auprès de tous les pratiquants, quel que soit leur niveau, et participer au fonctionnement du club.

avoir un niveau de jeu de seconde série (comme pour le DE) et une expérience de 500 heures d’enseignement.
Le moniteur de tennis est dispensé des conditions d’entrée.
Il faut en outre satisfaire aux tests de sélection qui comprennent des épreuves orales, écrites et une séquence pédagogique.
Le DES prépare aux métiers de directeur sportif, entraîneur de joueur de niveau au moins régional ou formateur d’enseignants de tennis. Le titulaire doit être capable de piloter un projet stratégique de politique sportive ou de diriger un système d’entraînement.
La formation est organisée dans les ligues régionales et dure 85 heures : • 70 heures en centre de formation,• 15 heures en club.
Pour y participer, il faut :• avoir un niveau de jeu de 30/2 ;• être titulaire du diplôme de secourisme PSC1
(Prévention et secours civiques de niveau 1).
L’AMT participe à l’initiation, en cours collectifs, des jeunes âgés de 18 ans au maximum sous la supervision d’un moniteur ou d’un professeur de tennis.
Référence réglementaire : l’enseignement du sport contre rémunération par l’article L212.1 du Code du sport.

Pour tous les niveaux de pratiquants en tant que MONITEUR DE TENNIS (titulaire du DE JEPS tennis, diplôme d’État de la jeunesse, de l’éducation populaire et du sport) ou PROFESSEUR DE TENNIS (titulaire du DES JEPS tennis, diplôme d’état supérieur de la jeunesse, de l’éducation populaire et du sport).
