    selfportrait - sonnet

im just a bunch of words in sweet disguise,i live inside the scent of incense burning,i travel on the wings of dreams that rise

inside that tender second of your yearningto feel the taste of passion on your tongueim partly from this world of flesh and feeling

and partly from the one of songs unsungthat wrap your heart within a silent healing

i am not worth the passion in your eyesfor i am just a mist of burning pleasures,

a flame lit by some angel in the skiesto guide you through the nights unearthly treasures

so if you think my soul is what youre reading, think twice its just the shadow of its bleeding

    sub rosa - sonnet

he sinks his gaze into the depths of skiesand then inhales the scent of falling rain

dissolved in grayness. from his misty eyesthe gloomy shade of an unspoken pain

starts creeping to the surface. seconds flow and withered petals of forgotten times

endow his mind with a translucent glowthat echoes in the sound of vespers chimes.

her image, buried deeply under tears,is just as young today as long ago

he still recalls, despite the many years, her coffins flowry scent when earthed below.she always smelled like rosesthis is why

i sowed them on her grave!, i heard his sigh.

    furtive - sonnet

my shadow cradled in your longing gazeendures with gratitude the lashing blinkthat fractures its translucent glassy haze

dissolving it in teary salty ink.your eyes i feel, when guided by my printsthey gently trace the path i took and take,

though often farness vitriolic splintssink deep, inveigling you to all forsake.

you hunt my trail, i strive to not look back, though in your name my o#ygen resides,

i keep on going, while my moves you track, and i pretend to look at other sides,

so that at times, when you my touch dont guess,my shadow can again your eye caress.

    cherry petals - sonnet

within the madrigal of cherry bloomsa hidden rhyme completes perfections nest suns essence flowing in the flowers wombs

entwines the waters permanent unrest.the seeds of light dissolved in nectar sweet

caress the blossoms veins with gentleness the promise of the fruit will soon replete

    the innocent corollas graciousness.

so when you take the time to contemplatethe flowers whiteness, delicate and fine, remember theyre not there to just ornate

the branches each is sunlights loving shrine, and cherries blood that stains your eager tongue

is sunlights silent song, remained unsung.

    paralysis - quasisonnet

up on my arm and down along my spineplay with my shivers and ignore my sleepcrawl, little spider, make my marrow thine, rock&a&bye spider in my dream sink deep,

silver my lashes, contouring my blink, weave in my fringes your tickling finessepunctuate your pace with thick salty ink,

make me your playground your beloved mess.

come, little spider, crawl along my neck, swing from my earlobe, oh, my precious jewel,

garland your cobwebs on my silent wreck, you make solitude taste a bit less cruel and if youre amused by my ruined cast,

im still of some worth till i turn to dust

    corrosion - sonnet

an old typewriters chink disrupts with shynessthe cyanotic flow of midnights death

slow poison for the flowers, summers drynessis sucking all the water from their breath.a hand with tired, shaky, wrinkled fingerscourageously attempts to fight despairand to ignore the loneliness that lingers

by gently striking keys. a s(ueaking chair

and a gray cats soft purr are all the vyingagainst the silent seconds serenade

while seconds die though, silence isnt dying, and cuts right to the bone with ruthless blade.

when sieved with dark regrets, nights crawl so glum)so many gone so many more to come!

    for a change - sonnet

your scent engraved in moonlights silver beamscaresses like a delicate embrace

the air surrounding each of all my dreams, shy solace for the tears across my face

its been so long since last your words of lovehave kissed my soul within the mists of night,

and heavens havent sent yet from abovean angel to replace your loving sight

and so tonight i swore to make a pactsince heavens do not seem to try and find

the angel that would easily distractmy heart from missing you, then i will bind

the hell to send to me out of its firesthe devil that would fit my blind desires

    laced waters - sonnet

black waters curl along the stony shore &unscented moonlight fails to keep the pace

and breaks its sheen against them, more and more, while turning into foam embroidered lace.

besetting ripples, voicing through the night, adorn with siren echoes my ordeal

no sleep for meobsessed, i taste the lightand hide my dreams under the waters seal.

those stirring foamy arabes(ues of pastkeep breaking on the shores of my unknown, from hidden tears they gently wipe the dustand let them freely carve my face of stone.black waters curl indeedfrom time to time

their lace is just my withered thinkings rhyme

    darkness - sonnet

what once was open, sheltering desire, has closed the eyes of nightingales at dawn

with frozen ice you cannot feed a fireand that which once was living now is gone

one cannot hope for hope to last foreverif with each taken step hope fades away, and if the reaching hand will ne#t to never

be able to convince the time to stay

a withered eye is not enough a vesselfor een the tiniest of all the happy tears,

no joy is harbored wher the nightmares nestleand pains the only lover through the years

when devil feeds on burning angel wingsthe ashes left are used for cleaning stings

    insomnia - sonnet

dreams dare no more to share my bed of thornsby drops of sweat e#(uisitely caressed

the scent of tears so tenderly adornsmy nightthe moon, by all my fears possessed,

looks like a giant haunting livid pearlthats hanging on the neck of a gray cloud

beyond it, skys infinities unfurl a dark and ever silent heavy shroud

be careful what you wish for i was warneda life ago, and now i pay the price,

for after passions shallow layer burned,i choked on emptinesss chewy slice.

when beds of roses fade, whats left insteadis just a painful sleepless thorny bed

    rosae sapientia - sonnet

capriccios rose, ye whirling flow of perfumeinto#icating people with your essence, alluring in your velvet petals costume,

why is your beauty doomed to evanescence0is it for reigning over other flowers

too haughtily unfolding your prestige0or maybe for your hypnotizing powers

that hold ones admiration in your liege0

or maybe its because your thorny keeperswhich claim a bloody toll through stinging painfrom those who dare to try to be your reapers0

when keeping your eyes shut, you look in vain i'm meant to teach you, witless walking sleepers,

about the transiency of every reign.

    sonnet in g minor

the grinning gray geometry of thoughtse#tends its gimpy limbs with gritty skininto the hidden meaning of why nots!

like greedy tentacles that groan and spin, and nude, the gorgeous gravity of timeis flaunting glamorously beads of sandattempting vainly to conceal the grime

    grotes(uely tarnishing because!s land.

a gaud is every second, chiming cheaparound the neck of gawky fate who cares

if in a ghastly grave ill fall asleepor if the stars reflect my grieving glares,

if only in the blandness of the groundill find the peace that yet 2 havent found0

    spring cleaning - sonnet

ill plant my roots inside the bones of marchand sip the sunlight flowing through its veins,

an apple tree will be my spinal arch, its blossoms meant to keep my thoughts in chains,

beneath my eyelids, icicles of saltwill melt into swift rivulets of green

and i will spring myself outside my vaultto flood the earth with beauty never seen,

my skin tattooed with sounds of sprouting wordswill gloriously flaunt its jewelish guise

and floating on my whispers, flocks of birdswill redefine the flimsiness of skies

perhaps when crushed by the auroras sole,i will forget the winter from my soul

    a midwinter night's dream - sonnet

the snowflakes floating in the crystal airremind me of the time when i was small,

when for my eyes each snowflake was a rareand precious treasure, like an angels call...i used to chase them every time they flew

around myself & tornados of delight, until my feet would ultimately slew,

and then id find myself completely white...

and now, each snowflake falling from the sky, while ravishing my heart with its soft touch, could still revive that childish, happy sigh,

and still enchant me...would i want too muchif i just wished these snowflakes not to die,but one more day to keep my spirit high0...

    heat sonnet

my skin aches for the honey of your touchas i keep longing for your lips sweet wine

to bring me closer to the sky...for suchinto#icating love, as yours and mine,is not complete, until we make it so,until i burn with fever in your arms, until your kisses on my body flow

to ease this so consuming pain that charms...

i try to wait, my love, im all in flames, but im the useless witness of my lust,

my flesh betrays me in your teasing gamesas if your words the sweetest spell had cast...

and as i give myself to you amain,i know i will soon long for you again...

    Pandora's box - sonnet

who would have thought, when 3pimetheushad seen the utmost beauty sent by gods,

he would not listen to 4rometheusand keep his hands away0 what were the odds0

because of him, we now have among usall evil things, from pain to very death,

from anger up to illness and, alas, from greed up to the envys stinking breath.

but also, due to him and his embraceso filled with passion for the beauty found, when sweet 4andora opened up her case

and vicious blights erupted all around,we have one tiny, fragile, magic ropethat keeps us going on forever) hope.

    sero desiderium - sonnet

i told myself, by pushing you away, that i could help us both forget that night,

when all the stars from good old milky wayhad suddenly become so close and bright...

i hoped by this that i could let you goand keep this hidden, as a sweet recall

of one sweet summer dream...but now i knowmy heart without you close is sad and small...

and all my days are flowing, sore and black, since, cause of me, we two are now apart, and i dont know how i could get you back,

or how to fly my thoughts towards your heart...but i will keep on searching in the skiesthe promise of a pair of burning eyes...

the pollen of days - sonnet

along the shores of time lay full of dustthe empty shells of words remained unsaid,

like iron blooms of thoughts, now kissed by rustand left to die on 5ethes silent bed,on mossy pillows of forgetfulness

and while their soul is slowly drained by tide, our heart, touched by the hand of (uietness,

becomes a wilted corner, dark and dried.

some think that, once words die, the heart is freedand light above the spirit soars again, refusing thus to see the actual weed

thats growing widely on their inner plain the bones of hidden feelings still reside

within the living coffin of their pride.

    a baby's touch sonnet

    for my first born

what could be sweeter than a babys touchcaressing softly with his hand your face0how could one not surrender to this muchtoo tender gesture, asking for embrace0how could one not remain in sudden awe

admiring the amazement in his eyes0

that wondrous air of innocence could thawthe iciest of souls in endless sighs.

and how could any person on this earthnot open up his heart to this divine

and priceless moment, which is giving birthto life itself, so delicate and fine0

such touches, hanging sweet around lifes wrist, are sparks of bliss by which ones heart is kissed.

    conversion - sonnet

they say that pearls are gemstones, and its true)their beauty often takes our hearts away,we string them into shiny ropes of dew

and pride ourselves with what the others saywhen they are charmed by bracelets, circlets, rings,

and any other pearly jewel we flaunt...the heart in front of their pure beauty sings, and we enjoy the outcome of our vaunt...

but never do we take the time to learnthe cruelty of the price one oyster pays

to bring to life 673 pearl, the pain, the yearn, the agony endured for days and days...

if 83 could turn to pearls our inner throes, would we be just as proud to flourish those0...

    commissum - sonnet

my love, into thy hands i trust my heart, for you to keep it safe, away from tears,

until the day when we shall be apart, when well be free from any earthly fears.

i hereby pray thy hands to hold it welland not to let it fall from heavens nest,

where, since ive met thee, secretly found dwelland in a perfect harmony doth rest.

so please, my lord, enthrall me with thy touch, and let my heart enjoy your loving sight, for never have i loved a man so much

as to confide him with my soul each night...and if i were to live my life anew,

again i would entrust my heart to you...

    Pygmalion - sonnet

within the sweetness of your stillness, flowssuch beauty, layered mute along your gazeas you behold me:...and as silence grows,my soul gets lost within your (uiet maze.

out of my hands you poured your curves, to bekissed by my heart and longed for by my blood
