Subjects, Timetable

Our break in the morning lasts 15 minutes and in the afternoon 10 minutes.

Our summer holidays lasts 2 months

During the schoolyear, we have holidays

every 7 or 8 weeks; they last 2 weeks.

Sciences in our schoolIn our school we study various scientific subjects :

- maths ( this year we start to learn algorithmic ),- physics-chemistry- biology and geology- technology

Our school often takes part in maths contests (kangaroo contest, …).In France, we have to be good at maths to go to a good school, so maths are

very important in our country.

Lunch at the canteen

-We have lunch between 12 and 1.15 pm.

-Our canteen is not very big.

- There is a big wall painting, which was made by students.

- We can take a starter, a main course, cheese or yoghurt, bread

and dessert.

- Once a month, we have special meals (example : Russian, Chinese,

Christmas).

SPORTS

In PE classes, we will practice 5 sports this year:handball, volleyball, table tennis, high jump and orienteering race.

Some pupils can be part of the « AS » (sports association) on Wednesday afternoon; they can

play volleyball, table tennis or dance!

Clubs, visits and trips

We have a lot of visits, for example : Versailles palace, museums, Paris...

Clubs : chess; choir; drama; English drama...

We also go to the cinema and theatre to see movies, shows, plays… linked to our curriculum.

Sometimes, we go abroad: England, Bulgaria...

The market place is very popular.
