This report is carried out by SAB on the 05 November 2012. The requested venue is HOTEL

STORMAN IN Celje, Slovenia.

Celje is the third largest town in Slovenia.It is a regional center of Lower Styria and the

administrative seat of Urban Municipality of Celje. The town Celje is located under Upper Celje

Castle(407m) at confluence of the Savinja, Hudinja, Loznica and Voglajna rivers in tje lower

Savinja Valley, and the Central Sava Valley, and at the crossing of the roads connecting

Ljubljana, Maribor , Velenje and Central Sava Valley. It lies 241 m above mean sea level.

The Veniue:HOTEL STORMAN-Celje

Hotel STORMANCelje is situated on the address Mariborska cesta 3 in Celje, just beside old

center of Celje(Highway is few minutes away), and bus station is across the street and near

exhibition center is the train station(about 200 m away). The hotel has 25 single rooms, 10

double rooms, 3 comfort single rooms, 5 comfort double rooms, 8 suites (1/2+1) and 2 business

apartments. All the rooms have bathroom with shower, cable TV, telephone, free wireless

internet, mini bar and radio with alarm clock. Hotel Storman is surrounded by two streets,

Mariborska cesta and Vrunceva ulica, and reaching hotel is possible just trough those routes.

The main entrance is in front of building from street Mariborska ulica. In front of the entrance is

a big private parking lot for hotels guests. Parking is pretty clean and with no places for hiding

IED-s .It is possible to came by the car directly to the entrance and walk just few meters to the

door .During few hours observation on the parking close to main entrance was presence at

least one police car and at least two local police officers were there. The hotel has seven floors.

On the left side of hotel is fire escape available from each floor.

Main door is an automatic, sliding type made by glass, equipped by sensor.

Directly in front of door are stairs on the right side are elevator, reception and pass way to

restaurant and pub.

The elevator is 450 kg capacity or 4 people.

On the left side , behind the fire escape is one more parking lot with a lot garbage dusters

which are suitable for plantings IED-s, because they have been checked.

Near dusters is an unsecured kitchen door which is always open this way is available for snaking

in hotel.

Other entrances to the hotel are from beck side from Vruniceva ulica side trough restaurant

and trough pub from front side. Both doors can be locked.

On the right side of the hotel where is one small parking are one stairs by which ones can be

reached pubs and restaurants roof and first floor of hotel.

From the lobby is the entrance to the toilets which are in use for all guests from ground floor

and no alternative exits from there then trough the lobby.

The toilet doesnt have windows so entrance from that sideis impossible.

The unsecured entrance to the kitchen trough left parking loot.

All seven floors have same plan, six rooms and one office is on the right wing of the hotel same

like on the right. Both offices are locked. Every floor have access to the stairs where is situated

another more elevator which is not in the use. Every floor has two fire extinguishers and fire

alarm and emergency lights.

As well, every floor on the left wing have access to the fire escape.

The elevator out of use, stairs access and the fire alarm.

Left wing of the hotel is safer then right wing because have closer access to the stairs, elevator

and fire escape.

As the hotel doesnt have the safe room one of bathrooms with no windows can be use in case

of emergency.

The closest hospital is Zdravstveni dom in the street Gregoriceva just 400 m far from hotel.The

closest police station is in the street Ljubljanska just 500m from the hotel. Firefighters are in the

street Deckova 850 m from the hotel.

Hospitals and firefighters can be reached trough The Emergency center by number 112

The Police can be reached trough number 112.
