ENSuper-Snap is an easy-to-use, color-coded and no-metal center disk system of finishing and polishing for all microfilled and hybrid composites, and produces lifelike esthetic results. Super-Snap Mandrels are exclusive use for Super-Snap Disks. Both metal and plastic mandrels are available. Super-Snap Polystrips are color-coded and incorporate two abrasive grits per strip for finishing and polishing of interproximal areas, and produce similar results as Super-Snap Disks.

INDICATIONSFinishing and polishing of all types of composite restorations, es-pecially labial surfaces and proximal areas of anterior and selected occlusal surfaces of posterior.

PRECAUTIONS 1. Do not reuse Super-Snap Disks, Super-Snap Polystrips and

Super-Snap Plastic Mandrels. 2. Do not use the air turbine for Super-Snap Disks. 3. This product is intended for use by dental professionals only. 4. Do not use this product for any purposes other than specifically

outlined in the INDICATIONS in these instructions for use.

DIRECTIONS FOR USESuper-Snap disks and mandrels 1. When using dedicated metal mandrel, Super-Snap Mandrel,

intraorally, disinfect it before each use.• Sterilization method: Autoclave (for 3 minutes at 134 °C or for

30 minutes at 121 °C)• Remove any contaminants, using cleaning liquid or disinfectant

and sterilize any of the following methods; autoclave, chemi-clave, dry heat sterilization, disinfectant liquid. For disinfection with chloride disinfectant liquid, do not immerse them for a long time as it may cause corrosion. Follow manufacturer’s instruc-tions of the cleaning liquid, disinfectant or sterilizer to be used.

2. Seat the disks onto the dedicated mandrel, Super-Snap Mandrel, securely.• Do not use damaged or defective instruments i.e. rust, surface

flaw, deformation, distortion and dirt. 3. Insert the mandrel into the dental handpiece (dental electric

engine, micro motor etc.)• Insert the shank completely into the chuck of the handpiece,

following the handpiece manufacturer’s instructions.• Perform test run extraorally to check safety and smooth opera-

tion without run-out prior to use. 4. Use in a conventional manner.

• Do not exceed the maximum permissible rotating speed.Super-Snap disks, Super-Snap SuperBuff: 15,000 min-1

• Use saliva ejector or vacuum during operation to eliminate water or saliva in patient’s mouth.

• Use Super-Snap disks and Super-Snap Plastic Mandrels only for one patient and discard at the end of the operation.

• Use local dust extractor, protective mask etc while finishing and polishing with this product.

• Use protective glasses while using this product to avoid dam-age to the eyes.

5. When reusing dedicated metal mandrel, remove any contami-nants using cleaning liquid or disinfectant immediately after use, then sterilize.• Do not reuse Super-Snap Disks and Super-Snap Plastic Man-

drels.

Super-Snap Polystrips 1. For polishing composite resin

• Do not reuse Super-Snap polystrips• The edge of Super-Snap Polystrips is sharp. Use extra caution

to avoid injuring fingers or patient’s lips or gingiva.• Do not bend at sharp angles.• Do not use damaged or defective instruments, i.e, deformation,

distortion or dirt.

STORAGE 1. Super-Snap Disks should be kept away from direct sunlight,

moisture and external pressure. 2. Store Super-Snap Polystrips and Super-Snap Mandrels avoiding

exposure to moisture, corrosive chemical and vapor. Keep away from external pressure (physical load) and avoid contamination.

GEBRAUCHSANLEITUNGSuper-Snap Scheiben und Mandrells 1. Bei Verwendung des zugehörigen Super-Snap Mandrel aus

Metall: Vor intraoralem Gebrauch stets desinfizieren.• Sterilisationsmethode: Autoklavieren (3 Minuten bei 134 °C

oder 30 Minuten bei 121 °C).• Mit Reinigungs- oder Desinfektionslösung von Verunreinigun-

gen säubern; dann mit Hilfe einer der folgenden Methoden sterilisieren: Autoklav, Chemiklav, Heißluftsterilisator, Desinfek-tionslösung. In chloridhaltige Desinfektionsmittel nicht zu lange einlegen, da dies zu Korrosion führen kann. Gebrauchs-anleitung des Herstellers des verwendeten Reinigungs- bzw. Desinfektionsmittels oder Sterilisators beachten.

2. Die Scheibe sicher am zugehörigen Super-Snap Mandrel befes-tigen.• Kein Instrument benutzen, das Schäden oder Fehler aufweist,

z.B. Rost, Oberflächenfehler, Verformung, Verdrehung oder Verschmutzung.

3. Das Mandrell in das Hand-/Winkelstück einsetzen (dentaler Elektromotor, Mikromotor etc.).• Den Schaft vollständig in das Spannfutter des Hand-/Winkel-

stücks einschieben. Anleitung des Hand-/Winkelstück-Herstel-lers beachten.

• Das Instrument erst probeweise extraoral rotieren lassen, um zu sehen, ob es sicher, ruhig und rund läuft.

4. Wie gewohnt finieren und polieren.• Die maximal zulässige Drehzahl nicht überschreiten.

Super-Snap Scheiben, Super-Snap SuperBuff: 15.000 min-1

Super-Snap Buff Disk: 10.000 min-1

• Während der Behandlung mit Speichelsauger oder Absaugan-lage Wasser und Speichel aus dem Mund entfernen.

• Super-Snap Scheiben und Super-Snap Plastic Mandrels nur bei einem Patienten verwenden und am Ende der Behandlung entsorgen.

• Beim Finieren und Polieren mit diesem Produkt lokale Staubab-saugung, Staubmaske etc. verwenden.

• Zur Vermeidung von Augenschäden bei Gebrauch dieses Produkts eine Schutzbrille tragen.

5. Bei Wiederverwendung der zugehörigen Metall-Mandrells sofort nach Gebrauch alle Verunreinigungen mit Reinigungs- oder Desinfektionslösung entfernen; anschließend sterilisieren.• Super-Snap Scheiben und Super-Snap Plastic Mandrels nicht

wiederverwenden.

Super-Snap Polystrips 1. Zum Polieren von Kompositen

• Super-Snap Polystrips nicht wiederverwenden.• Die Super-Snap Polystrips haben scharfe Ränder. Äußerst vor-

sichtig anwenden, um nicht die eigenen Finger bzw. die Lippen oder das Zahnfleisch des Patienten zu verletzen.

• Nicht im spitzen Winkel knicken.• Keinen Streifen benutzen, der Schäden oder Fehler aufweist,

z.B. Verformung, Verdrehung oder Verschmutzung.

LAGERUNG 1. Super-Snap Scheiben vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung, Feuch-

tigkeit und äußerem Druck schützen. 2. Super-Snap Polystrips und Super-Snap Mandrels vor Feuchtig-

keit, korrosiven Chemikalien und Dämpfen schützen. Nicht unter äußerem Druck (mechanischer Belastung) lagern und Kontami-nationen vermeiden.

MODE D’EMPLOIDisques et mandrins Super-Snap 1. Si l’on se sert d’un mandrin métallique Super-Snap en intraoral,

le stériliser avant utilisation.• Méthode de stérilisation : autoclave (3 minutes à 134 °C ou 30

minutes à 121 °C)• Décontaminer à l’aide d’une solution de nettoyage et désin-

fection puis stériliser en autoclave, chemiclave ou chaleur sèche. Avec les désinfectants chlorés, ne pas immerger trop longtemps car cela pourrait provoquer de la corrosion. Suivre les instructions du fabricant des produits de désinfection ou stérilisation utilisés.

2. Monter les disques sur le mandrin Super-Snap choisi et vérifier le positionnement.• Ne pas utiliser d’instrument endommagé ou présentant un

défaut (rouille, déformation, salissure) 3. Insérer le disque monté dans la pièce à main (micro moteur etc.)

• Pousser la tige à fond dans le mandrin de la pièce à main en respectant les consignes du fabricant de cette dernière.

• Contrôler à vide que le disque tourne rond sans déséquilibre avant utilisation.

4. Opérer de façon conventionnelle.• Ne pas dépasser les vitesses maximum de rotation indiquées.

• Utiliser la pompe à salive durant l’opération pour éliminer toute humidité excessive en bouche.

• Les disques Super-Snap et les Super-Snap Plastic Mandrels sont à usage unique et donc à jeter en fin de chaque opération.

• Utiliser une aspiration locale, un masque etc. lors du polissage et la finition avec ce produit.

• Porter également des lunettes de protection durant l’utilisation du produit.

5. Pour réutiliser un mandrin métallique, éliminer tout contaminant à l’aide d’une solution de nettoyage et désinfection, ceci juste après usage, puis stériliser.• Ne jamais réutiliser les disques Super-Snap et les Super-Snap

Plastic Mandrels.

Super-Snap Polystrips 1. Pour le polissage des résines composites

• Ne jamais réutiliser les Super-Snap Polystrips • Les bords des Super-Snap Polystrips sont fins. Faire très atten-

tion pour éviter une coupure sur ses doigts ou les tissus mous du patient.

• Ne pas les plier à angle aigu.• Ne pas utiliser d’instruments endommagés ou défectueux

(déformés ou sales).

STOCKAGE 1. Les disques Super-Snap sont à conserver à l’abri de la lumière

solaire directe, de l’humidité et de toute pression externe. 2. Les Polystrips et mandrins Super-Snap se conservent à l’abri de

l’humidité, la corrosion chimique et la vapeur. Attention à ne pas poser de poids dessus; éviter la contamination.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USODiscos y mandriles Super-Snap 1. Cuando se use el mandril metálico Super-Snap Mandrel intrao-

3. Inserir o mandril na peça de mão (motor dental elétrico, micro-motor, etc.)• Inserir a haste do mandril completamente na peça de mão,

seguindo as instruções do fabricante da peça de mão.• Fazer um teste extraoral para verificar o funcionamento seguro

e correto antes do uso. 4. Usar de forma convencional.

Polystrips Super-Snap 1. Para polimento de compósitos.

• Não reutilizar Polystrips Super-Snap• Os bordos de Polystrips Super-Snap são afiados. Usar pre-

caução extra para evitar ferimentos nos dedos ou no lábio e gengiva do paciente.

• Não dobrar as tiras em ângulos agudos.• Não usar instrumentos danificados ou defeituosos, ou seja,

com deformação, com distorção ou sujidade.

ARMAZENAMENTO 1. Os discos Super-Snap devem ser mantidos longe da luz solar

direta, umidade e pressão externa. 2. Armazenar Polystrips Super-Snap e Mandris Super-Snap

evitando a exposição à umidade, produtos químicos corrosivos e vapores. Manter afastado de qualquer pressão externa (carga física) e evitar a contaminação.

ITSuper-Snap è un sistema di dischi facili da usare, dotati di codice colore e privi di centro metallico, per la finitura e la lucidatura dei compositi microcaricati e ibridi, per risultati estetici duraturi. I mandrini Super-Snap Mandrels possono essere utilizzati esclusi-vamente in combinazione con i dischi Super-Snap. Sono disponi-bili mandrini sia in metallo sia in plastica. Le strisce Super-Snap Polystrips sono dotate di codice colore ed ognuna ha due grane abrasive per la finitura e la lucidatura delle aree interprossimali, con risultati analoghi ai dischi Super-Snap.

INDICAZIONIFinitura e lucidatura di tutte le ricostruzioni in composito, in partico-lare di superfici vestibolari e aree prossimali anteriori e determinate superfici occlusali posteriori.

PRECAUZIONI 1. Super-Snap Disks, Super-Snap Polystrips e Super-Snap Plastic

Mandrels sono prodotti monouso. 2. Non utilizzare la turbina ad aria con i dischi Super-Snap. 3. Prodotto destinato esclusivamente all’uso da parte dei professio-

nisti del settore odontoiatrico. 4. Il prodotto non deve essere utilizzato per scopi diversi da quelli

specificati nelle INDICAZIONI delle presenti istruzioni per l’uso.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’USODischi e mandrini Super-Snap 1. Disinfettare l’apposito mandrino in metallo Super-Snap Mandrel

prima di ogni utilizzo intraorale.• Metodo di sterilizzazione: autoclave (per 3 minuti a 134 °C o

per 30 minuti a 121 °C)• Rimuovere eventuali contaminanti, utilizzando un liquido

detergente o un disinfettante e sterilizzare con uno dei metodi seguenti: autoclave, chemiclave, sterilizzazione a calore secco, liquido disinfettante. In caso di disinfezione con disinfettante liquido a base di cloruro, non lasciare i prodotti in immersione troppo a lungo, poiché sussiste il rischio di corrosione. Attener-si alle istruzioni del produttore del liquido detergente, disinfet-tante o dello strumento di sterilizzazione utilizzati.

2. Fissare saldamente i dischi sull’apposito mandrino, Super-Snap Mandrel.• Non utilizzare strumenti danneggiati o difettosi, ad es. arruggi-

niti, o con superficie che presenta imperfezioni, deformazioni, alterazioni o sporco.

3. Inserire il mandrino nel manipolo (motore elettrico per uso odon-toiatrico, micromotore, ecc.)• Inserire completamente il gambo nel morsetto del manipolo,

attenendosi alle istruzioni del produttore del manipolo.• Prima dell’uso, eseguire un test fuori dalla cavità orale per

verificare la sicurezza e il buon funzionamento dello strumento, senza rischi di distacco del disco.

4. Utilizzare come di consueto.• Non superare la velocità di rotazione massima ammessa.

Dischi Super-Snap, Super-Snap SuperBuff: 15.000 giri/minSuper-Snap Buff Disk: 10.000 giri/min

• Utilizzare un aspirasaliva o una cannula di aspirazione sotto vuoto per eliminare l’acqua o la saliva nella bocca del paziente.

• Utilizzare Super-Snap disks e Super-Snap Plastic Mandrels per un solo paziente e smaltirli al termine dell’operazione.

• Utilizzare un estrattore di polvere, maschera protettiva, ecc. du-rante le operazioni di finitura e lucidatura con questo prodotto.

• Per evitare danni agli occhi durante l’utilizzo di questo prodotto, indossare occhiali protettivi.

5. In caso di riutilizzo dell’apposito mandrino in metallo, rimuovere eventuali contaminanti utilizzando un detergente liquido o un disinfettante immediatamente dopo l’uso. Quindi procedere alla sterilizzazione.• Super-Snap Disks e Super-Snap Plastic Mandrels sono prodotti

monouso.

Super-Snap Polystrips 1. Per la lucidatura di resine composite

• Super-Snap polystrips è un prodotto monouso, non riutilizzare.• Il bordo delle strisce Super-Snap Polystrips è tagliente. Pre-

stare la massima attenzione per evitare lesioni alle dita o alle labbra e gengive del paziente.

• Non piegare ad angolo acuto.• Non utilizzare strumenti danneggiati o difettosi, ad es. se pre-

sentano deformazioni, alterazioni o sporco.

CONSERVAZIONE 1. I prodotti Super-Snap Disks devono essere conservati al riparo

dalla luce solare diretta, dall’umidità e da pressioni esterne. 2. Conservare Super-Snap Polystrips e Super-Snap Mandrels al

riparo da umidità, agenti chimici corrosivi e vapore. Conservare al riparo da pressioni esterne (carichi fisici) ed evitare qualsiasi contaminazione.

• При работе необходимо удалять из полости рта воду и слюну, используя слюноотсос или отсасывающее устрой-ство.

• Диски Super-Snap и Super-Snap Plastic Mandrels использо-вать только для одного пациента и по окончании лечения следует утилизировать.

• При финировании и полировке с помощью этого инстру-мента использовать локальное отсасывающее устрой-ство, защитную маску и т.д.

• Чтобы избежать повреждения глаз, при работе с этим инструментом использовать защитные очки.

• В случае повторного использования металлической ман-дрели сразу после использования удалить все загрязне-ния, используя чистящее или дезинфицирующее средство, затем стерилизовать. Не использовать повторно диски Super-Snap и Super-Snap Plastic Mandrels.

Super-Snap Polystrips 1. Для полировки композитов

• Не использовать повторно полоски Super-Snap Polystrips.• Полоски Super-Snap Polystrips имеют острые края. Исполь-

зовать крайне осторожно, чтобы не поранить собственные пальцы, а также губы или десну пациента.

• Не сгибать под острым углом.• Не использовать полоски, имеющие повреждения или

дефекты, например, деформацию, скручивание или за-грязнение.

нечных лучей, влаги и внешней нагрузки. 2. Полоски Super-Snap Polystrips und мандрели Super-Snap

dentystów. 4. Nie należy używać tego produktu do celów innych niż w zalece-

niach zawartych we WSKAZANIA w niniejszej instrukcji obsługi.

UWAGI DOTYCZĄCE UŻYTKOWANIAKrążki i mandryle Super-Snap 1. Używając metalowego mandryla (Super-Snap Mandrels) w jamie

INSTRUCŢIUNI DE UTILIZAREDiscurile şi mandrinele Super-Snap 1. Dacă se utilizează o mandrină din metal dedicată Super-Snap

(Mandrel) intraoral, trebuie dezinfectată înainte de fiecare utiliza-re.• Metodă de sterilizare: Sterilizaţi în autoclavă (timp de 3 minute,

la 134 °C sau timp de 30 de minute, la 121 °C)• Eliminaţi orice agenţi contaminanţi cu lichid de curăţare sau

cu dezinfectant şi sterilizaţi prin una din următoarele meto-de: sterilizare în autoclavă, sterilizare în clavă de sterilizare chimică, sterilizare prin căldură uscată, lichid dezinfectant. Pentru dezinfectarea cu lichid dezinfectant pe bază de clorură, a nu se imersa timp îndelungat deoarece lichidul poate cauza corodarea. Respectaţi instrucţiunile producătorului lichidului de curăţare, dezinfectantului sau agentului de sterilizare care urmează să fie utilizat.

2. Aşezaţi fix discurile pe mandrina dedicată Super-Snap (Mandrel).• Nu folosiţi instrumente deteriorate sau defecte, adică ruginite,

cu defecte de suprafaţă, cu deformări, strâmbe sau murdare. 3. Introduceţi mandrina în piesa de mână (motor electric stomatolo-

gic, micromotor etc.)• Introduceţi tija complet în mandrina piesei de mână, respec-

tând instrucţiunile producătorului piesei.• Efectuaţi o verificare extraorală pentru a vă asigura că sunt

respectate normele de siguranţă şi de operare eficientă, înainte de utilizarea propriu-zisă.

4. Folosiţi în mod convenţional.• Nu depăşiţi turaţia maxim admisă.

• În timpul operaţiei folosiţi un aspirator de salivă pentru a elimi-na apa sau saliva din gura pacientului.

• Folosiţi discurile Super-Snap şi mandrinele din plastic Super-Snap (Plastic Mandrels) numai pentru un singur pacient şi eliminaţi-le la sfârşitul operaţiei.

• Folosiţi un aspirator de praf local, mască de protecţie etc. în

timpul finisării şi lustruirii cu acest produs.• Folosiţi ochelari de protecţie în timpul utilizării acestui produs

pentru a evita vătămarea ochilor. 5. Dacă se reutilizează mandrina din metal dedicată, eliminaţi orice

agenţi contaminanţi cu lichid de curăţare sau cu dezinfectant imediat după utilizare, iar după aceea sterilizaţi.• A nu se reutiliza discurile Super-Snap şi mandrinele din plastic

Super-Snap (Plastic Mandrels).

Benzile de lustruire Super-Snap (Polystrips) 1. Pentru lustruirea răşinilor compozite.

• A nu se reutiliza benzile de lustruire Super-Snap (polystrips)• Muchia benzilor de lustruire Super-Snap (Polystrips) este

ascuţită. Procedaţi cu atenţie suplimentară pentru a preveni vătămarea degetelor, a buzelor sau gingiilor pacientului.

• A nu se îndoi în unghi ascuţit.• A nu se folosi instrumente deteriorate sau defecte, adică defor-

mate, strâmbe sau murdare.

DEPOZITARE 1. Discurile Super-Snap trebuie ferite de lumina solară directă, de

umezeală şi de presiune externă. 2. Depozitaţi benzile de lustruire Super-Snap (Polystrips) şi tijele

Super-Snap (Mandrels) astfel încât să se evite expunerea la umezeală, la substanţe şi vapori corozivi. A se feri de presiune exterioară (solicitări fizice) şi a se evita contaminarea.

BRUKSANVISNINGSuper-Snap polertrissor och mandreller 1. Vid användning av den för ändamålet mest lämpade metall

mandrellen, Super-Snap Mandrel, intraoralt, skall den desinfice-ras före varje användning.• Metod för sterilisering: Autoklavera (3 minuter i 134 °C eller i 30

minuter i 121 °C).• Avlägsna alla kontamineringar, använd rengöringsvätska eller

desinficering och sterilisera med någon av följande metoder; autoklavering, kemisk klav, eller sterilisering med varmluft, alternativt med desinficerings vätska. Vid desinfektion med klor desinficerande vätskor så skall inte instrumenten ligga i desinfiseringsvätskan för länge då det kan orsaka korrosion. Följ fabrikantens rekommendationer av rengörings vätska, desinficeringsvätska eller steriliseringsapparatur som skall användas.

2. Tryck fast polertrissan på den valda mandrellen, Super-Snap Mandrel, så att den sitter säkert.• Använd inte skadade eller defekta instrument som t.ex..flagnar

på ytan, är deformerade, eller förvridna eller smutsiga. 3. Sätt i mandrellen i dental handstycket (elektriska motorn för

dentalt bruk, mikro motor etc.)• För in skaftet fullständigt i chucken på handstycket, följ hand-

styckstillverkarens instruktioner.• Testa med rätt varvtal extraoralt för att kontrollera säkerheten

och smidig avverkan utan att göra slut på slipmaterialet före användning oralt.

4. Användes på konventionellt sätt.• Överskrid inte det maximalt rekommenderade varvtalet.

FÖRVARING 1. Super-Snap Polertrissor skall skyddas från direct solljus, fukt

eller yttre tryckbelastning. 2. Förvara Super-Snap Polystrips och Super-Snap Mandrels skyd-

dat från att exponeras av fukt, korrosiva kemikalier och ångor. Skyddas från yttre tryck (fysisk belastning) och undvik kontami-nering.

ΟΔΗΓΙΕΣ ΧΡΗΣΗΣSuper-Snap δίσκοι και μαντρέλ 1. Όταν χρησιμοποιείται τα μεταλλικά μαντρέλ αποκλειστικής

χρήσης Super-Snap μαντρέλ, ενδοστοματικά απολυμάνετε τα πρίν από κάθε χρήση.• Μέθοδος αποστείρωσης: Αυτόκαυστο (για 3 λεπτά στους

134 °C ή για 30 λεπτά στους 121 °C)• Απομακρύνετε οτιδήποτε μολυσματικό χρησιμοποιώντας υγρό

καθαρισμού ή απολύμανσης και αποστειρώστε με μία από τις παρακάτω μεθόδους: αυτόκαυστο, χημική αποστείρωση, αποστείρωση ξηρής θερμότητας, υγρό απολύμανσης. Για απολύμανση με υγρό χλωριδίου μη τα τοποθετείτε μέσα για μεγάλο χρονικό διάστημα γιατί μπορεί να προκληθεί διάβρω-ση. Ακολουθείστε τις οδηγίες του κατασκευαστή του υγρού καθαρισμού, απολύμανσης ή αποστείρωσης που θα χρησιμο-ποιηθεί.

2. Τοποθετείστε και ασφαλίστε το δίσκο στο αποκλειστικό Super-Snap μαντρέλ.• Μη χρησιμοποιείτε κατεστραμμένα ή ελλατωματικά εργαλεία

δηλ σκουριά, επιφανειακή ροή, παραμόρφωση, στρέβλωση και ρύπους.

3. Τοποθετείστε το μαντρέλ στην οδοντιατρική χειρολαβή (ηλκτρικό μοτέρ, μικρομότερ κλπ)• Τοποθετείστε το στέλεχος πλήρως μέσα στη κεφαλή της χει-

ρολαβής ακολουθώντας τις οδηγίες των κατασκεταστών των χειρολαβών.

• Πραγματοποιείστε δοκιμή λειτουργίας εξωστοματικά για να ελέγξετε την ασφαλή και ομαλή λειτουργία χωρίς την απόπτω-ση του πρίν από τη χρήση.

5. Όταν επαναχρησιμοποιείται τα αποκλειστικά μεταλλικά μαντρέλ απομακρύνετε άμεσα οτιδήποτε μολυσματικό χρησιμοποιώντας υγρό καθαρισμού ή απολύμανσης και στη συνέχεια αποστειρώ-στε.• Μη ξαναχρησιμοποιείτε τους δίσκους Super-Snap, και τα
