Lisa McKeon is a Brooklyn resident, mom, freelance writer, and literacy specialist at an

elementary school in New York. She also writes for Scholastic.

Violet Lemay is an award-winning illustrator whose children's books include New York Baby,

Doodle New York, Texas Baby, Beach Babies, Beach Doodles, Isabellaʼs Shoe Studio,

Doodle Chicago, and My Foodie ABC. Her work has appeared in American Baby, Better

Homes and Gardens, Elle, Family Circle, The New York Times, Parent and Child, and The

Wall Street Journal. She lives in Saratoga Springs, New York.
