Verbier accueille cette année la 1ère édition du Verbier Impulse qui fera vibrer la station durant 6 jours.

Nous pourrons profiter du ski et suivre les concerts à 2500 mètres d’altitude face à un panorama unique. Ces réjouissances permettront de partager de bons moments dans une ambiance festive et conviviale, avec des artistes de renom-mée internationale.

Lors de ces 2 week-ends, auront également lieu la finale de la Philippe Roux Cup et le Verbier High Five qui réunit chaque année des stars du ski, du freeride et du skicross.

Initiateur du Verbier Impulse, Téléverbier a colla-boré avec le Caribana Festival, ainsi qu’avec les partenaires touristiques de la station, afin de le mettre sur pieds.

Nous espérons que cet événement festif et sportif s’inscrive dans la continuité et pour celà nous avons besoin de vous, qui nous l’espérons, viendrez nombreux !

This year, Verbier will be hosting the first edition of Verbier Impulse which is sure to have the resort buzzing for six days.

Participants will be able to enjoy skiing and at-tend concerts at an altitude of 2,500 meters while admiring a unique panorama. These festivities will provide an opportunity to share a great time in a social, friendly atmosphere, with internationally renowned artists.

The finals of the Philippe Roux Cup and the Verbier High Five, which annually brings together the stars of the skiing, freeride and skicross worlds, will also take place over these two weekends.

The originator of Verbier Impulse, Téléverbier, has worked on putting it together with the Caribana Festival, as well as with the resort’s partners in the tourism industry. We trust that this festive, sporty event will become a permanent fixture and for that to happen, we need you! We hope that there will be a good turnout!

Verbier Xtreme, Verbier Festival, pour ne citer que les deux principaux : les events participent de manière prépondérante au renom international de Verbier, dont ils constituent l’essentiel de l’image. Mais pourquoi donc un nouveau festival, alors que l’offre régionale semble déjà foisonnante en matière musicale ?

La réponse est simple: Verbier se préoccupe de son propre destin, et à ce titre investit dans un event porteur sur le moyen-long terme. Laissant l’électro à Crans-Montana et l’accoustique au Zer-matt Unplugged, le Verbier Impulse sera résolu-ment live et rock, sur les pistes aussi bien que dans les endroits branchés de la station, l’organisation sur deux week-ends répondant à des critères de minimisation des risques météo.

Téléverbier se réjouit d’une collaboration signifi-cative avec l’ensemble de la station pour la mise sur pied de cet event appelé à devenir un grand classique en mêlant musique et sports de glisse.

Verbier Xtreme and Verbier Festival are just two of the myriad events that contribute to the resort’s international reputation and, to a large degree, create its image. So why add another festival to the calendar, when the region already has a lively music scene?

The answer is simple: Verbier is interested in its own future, so it is investing in an event that will grow in the medium- to long-term. Leaving electro to Crans-Montana and acoustic to Zermatt Unplugged, the Verbier Impulse festival will focus firmly on live rock, on the pistes as well as in the resort’s most fashionable venues. The concerts will be spread over two weekends to reduce the risk of disruption by bad weather.

Téléverbier is delighted to be working with the whole resort to start this event which, with its combination of music and winter sports, is set to become a real classic.

STEFANIE HEINZMANN CH

Originaire d’Eyholz dans le Haut-Valais, Stefanie Heinzmann connait une carrière fulgurante.

En 2008, elle remporte le télécrochet de la chaîne allemande ProSieben. Dans la foulée, elle signe chez Universal Music et sort "My Man Is a Mean Man", son premier single qui cartonne dans les hit-parades en Suisse, en Allemagne et en Autriche.

L’année passée sortait "Chance Of Rain", son qua-trième album solo, emmené par le tube pop soul "In The End".

Fondé par les frères, Matt, Joe, Esra et Simri-Ra-mon Buchli, 77 Bombay Street rencontre un suc-cès fulgurant grâce au tube "Up In The Sky" (2011), tiré de son premier album, certifié double platine en Suisse. Dans la foulée de la sortie de son deu-xième opus "Oko Ono" en 2012, le groupe s’em-barque pour une tournée de quelque 300 dates, en Suisse, en Allemagne, en Angleterre, en France, en Italie, en Suède et en Hollande.

Fin 2015, 77 Bombay Street sort "Seven Moun-tains", son troisième album, enregistré en Australie.


Formed by brothers Matt, Joe, Esra and Simri-Ra-mon Buchli, 77 Bombay Street enjoyed amazing success in 2011 with "Up In The Sky", a single taken from their first album, which went double plati-num in Switzerland. Immediately after releasing their second album, "Oko Town", in 2012, they set off on a 300-date tour of Switzerland, Germany, the UK, France, Italy, Sweden and the Netherlands.

At the end of 2015 the band released their third album, "Seven Mountains", which was recorded in Australia.

Repéré dans un bar de Montreux en 2013, le jeune guita-riste-chanteur neuchâtelois Félix Rabin est depuis un ha-bitué des célèbres jam sessions du Montreux Jazz Club. Passionné de blues, il y a notamment déjà joué avec M et Avishai Cohen.

Félix Rabin, a young singer/guitarist from Neuchâtel, was spotted in a bar in Montreux in 2013 and subsequently became a regular at the famous Montreux Jazz Club jam sessions. He loves the blues, and has already played with M and Avishai Cohen.

La grande scène se situe en dessous du Chalet Carlsberg au milieu du domaine skiable de Verbier à 2500 mètres d’altitude.

Des gradins naturels taillés dans la neige surplombent la grande scène formant l’Arène des Attelas.

The main stage is situated just below the Chalet Carlsberg in the middle of Verbier’s ski area at 2,500 metres altitude.

The natural terraces carved in the snow overlook the main stage which forms the Attelas Arena.

L’Arène des Attelas se trouve au milieu de la piste des Attelas.

Pour s’y rendre, prendre la télécabine Le Châble - Verbier - Médran 1 ou 2, ensuite le funispace qui arrive aux Attelas et descendre la piste jusqu’au Chalet Carlsberg.

PIÉTONS

Pour les piétons, la scène est accessible via la télécabine Le Châble - Verbier- Médran 1 ou 2, ensuite le télémixte de la Chaux-Express se rendant à Fontanet et en marchent environ 10minutes jusqu’au Chalet Carlsberg.

L’accès aux concerts sera gratuit pour tous les détenteurs d’un forfait de ski Verbier ou 4Vallées (valeur minimale CHF 66.-*, piétons idem).

Des formules spéciales pour 3 ou 6 jours sont disponibles à des prix très attractifs sur le site www.verbierimpulse.com.

*Les détenteurs d’un abonnement saison ou annuel ont accès aux concerts gratuitement.

The Attelas Arena is situated in the middle of the Attelas piste.

To get there you have to take the Le Châble - Verbier - Medran 1 or 2 lift and then the Funispace which goes to Attelas.

PEDESTRIANS

Pedestrian access will be set up between Fontanet and the Chalet Carlsberg.

Access to the concerts will be free of charge for all people with a ski pass for Verbier or 4 Vallées (minimum value CHF 66.-* and the same for pedestrians).

Special deals for 3 or 6 days are available on www.verbierimpulse.com.

*The concerts are free with season or annual ski pass.

The stage is situated below the 1936 bar which is a renowned après-ski venue.

Le 1936 se trouve sur la piste de la Combe.

Pour s’y rendre il faut prendre la télécabine Le Châble - Verbier- Médran 1 ou 2 et rejoindre la piste qui passe au dessus du départ des télécabines du Mayentzet.

PIÉTONS

Pour les piétons, la scène est accessible par le Carrefour. Il suffit de prendre les navettes de la ligne Médran - Carrefour et de s’arreter à l’arrêt Carrefour..

For pedestrians, the stage is easily reached from Carrefour. Take one of the free buses on the Medran - Carrefour route and go to the Carrefour stop at the end of the line and walk a few minutes to the 1936 bar.

Le Challenge Philippe Roux est une compétition

de slalom géant pour petits et grands.

Ces courses populaires se déroulent tous les sa-

medis de la saison sur le stade de compétition de

Savoleyres.

Des points sont distribués aux 10 meilleurs de

chaque catégorie afin d’établir un

classement général.

Cette année la grande nouveauté est la finale qui

aura lieu le samedi 9 avril sur la piste des Attelas.

Que vous ayez pris part aux Challenges tout au

long de l’hiver ou non, venez en nombre participez

à cette finale afin de clôturerez en beauté votre

saison !

Les meilleures d’entre vous seront récompensés

lors de la remise des résultats sur la scène de

l’Arène des Attelas.

The Philippe Roux Challenge is a giant slalom

competition for children and adults.

These amateur races take place every Saturday

during the season at the competition arena at

Savoleyres.

Points are awarded to the 10 best entrants in each

category, so that an overall ranking can be pro-

duced. This year’s new feature is the final, which

will take place on Saturday 9 April at the Les

Attelas piste.

Whether you have taken part in the Challenges

throughout the winter or not, come along and

participate in the final. It’s a fantastic way to round

off the skiing season!

The best entrants will receive their awards when

the results are announced from the stage at the

Arène des Attelas.

Le Verbier High Five by Carlsberg accueillera,

comme chaque année, quelques stars de la saison

régulière de ski alpin pour une joute amicale sur

quatre disciplines.

Le Verbier High Five by Carlsberg se déroulera le

16 avril 2016 prochain sur les pistes du domaine

skiable de Verbier.

Cette manifestation est une véritable fête du ski

sur les pistes : sous un soleil printanier, mais avec

des conditions encore clairement hivernales à

2’500 m d’altitude, le public est invité à se mesurer

aux meilleures athlètes du cirque blanc ain-

si qu’à des personnalités connues, sur plusieurs

disciplines alpines et fun.

Verbier High Five by Carlsberg will host, as every

year, a few stars of the regular season of alpine

skiing for a friendly competition going on 4 dis-

ciplines.

Verbier High Five by Carlsberg will take place on

April 16, 2016 on the slopes of Verbier ski resort.

This event is a true festival of skiing on the slopes :

under a spring sun, but still with winter conditions

at 2,500 m above sea level, the public is invited to

compete against the best athletes of ski racing,

as well as famous people, on several alpine and

fun disciplines. 4 disciplines are on the program :

Giant slalom, mini KL (flying Kilometre), skicross

and trampoline.

The 8 best participants in each category (man/

lady) qualify for the finals which take place in ski

cross. The two finalists in each category will then

have the opportunity to face the best Pros in a

Super Final.

This year, a special category « Ski-Club » will be

introduced. Indeed, 5 ski clubs of French-speaking

Switzerland and German-speaking Switzerland

were invited to the event and will compete to de-

fine the best skier.

Athletes and celebrities present at this event will

be announced soon.

Quatre disciplines sont au programme:

Le slalom géant, le kilomètre lancé, le Ski Cross et

enfin le Trampoline. Les 8 meilleurs participants

de chaque catégorie (homme/femme) du public

se qualifient pour les finales qui se déroulent sur

le ski-cross. Les 2 finalistes de chaque catégorie

auront ensuite l’occasion d’affronter les meilleurs

Pro lors d’une Super Finale.

Cette année, une catégorie spéciale Ski-Club

sera introduite. En effet, 5 ski-clubs de Suisse

Romande et Suisse alémanique ont été conviés

à l’événement et se mesureront pour définir le

meilleur skieur.

Les sportifs et stars présentes lors de cette

journée seront annoncées prochainement.
