Bédarrides Depart from the Roman bridge in Bédarrides. At the War Memorial roundabout take the chemin des Sences. Follow the Ouvèze River for about 6km.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape

At the roundabout, follow signs to Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Pass over the A7 motorway and turn left on to the D92 after the bridge, then turn right on to Rue Louise Michel and follow the sign towards Camping des Sources.

Turn left at the end of the path and pass below the railway line. Then turn right on to Avenue de la Gare. Turn right on to Avenue du Cours. Turn left at the Triumphal Arch and follow signs to Place du 8 Mai. Continue along this road and then take Grand Rue Charles de Gaulle. Pass in front of the town hall and the church. At the water tower roundabout, turn right and go to the war memorial roundabout. Alternative Bédarrides-Courthézon.

Courthézon

Turn right along the Route de l’Europe and continue along the railway line. Then turn right again along the Allée des Clèdes for 50m. Take Rue de la Liberté on the left until you reach the roundabout and then turn left on to Avenue du Général Leclerc. Pass below the railway line to enter in Courthézon. Follow the itinerary from [h].

Turn left towards the Chemin Saint Laurent and go straight until you face the railway.

From the tourist Office of Courthézon, go around the village by th bld de la République and Bld Victor Hugo to reach the avenue du Général Leclerc. Go below the railway line. At the round about, turn left on to avenue de la Liberté, then right chemin des crémades, then right Bld de l’Europe, then route de Beauregard. Cross the D977 and turn left chemin de Bramefan. Enter Jonquières via the Avenue Biscarrat Bombanel. Go straight and carry on the Avenue du 11 novembre. Pass by the city hall place to reach the VIA VENAISSIA.

Jonquières From the ancient Railway station of Jonquières return along Avenue Biscarrat- Bombanel

Turn right on to Chemin Noir.

At the junction between Chemin des Sences and Chemin St Laurent, continue alongside the Ouvèze River as far as the junction with the D977 (Take care! very busy road)

Turn left after 400m, then turn right on to Allée des Chênes. Follow the alley.

Jonquières

Turn left on to Chemin de Beauregard. Enter Jonquières. Follow Avenue Biscarrat-Bombanel as far as Place de la Mairie. Go straight on Avenue du 11 novembre to arrive on the VIA VENAISSIA green way.

Courthézon

When you reach the D977, turn right and then turn left towards La Clède via Chemin de Beauregard. Enter Courthézon. Follow signs to Avignon until you reach the roundabout between Rue de la Liberté and Avenue du Général Leclerc. Turn right and go below the railway to enter Courthézon.

At the roundabout follow Font de Loup, continue towards the old Avignon road and then turn right on to Chemin des Saintes Vierges. Continue along the road (2km).

Entrée dans Bédarrides.

Turn left and Pass over the A7 Highway. Turn right then left then right on to Chemin des Beaumettes. Follow the track for 2km. Enter Bédarrides.

Leaving the Place du 8 Mai, continue along Rue Elie Dussaud towards the Town Hall. Turn left opposite the Town Hall on to Boulevard Henri Fabre and follow the sign Toutes directions. Continue along this road and then take the street signposted as no entry except for cyclists.

Guidage : suivez le balisage vélo. En cas de doute sur l’iti-néraire, suivre la route principale ou continuer tout droit.

Équipement : l’équipement en VTC et le port du casque sont conseillés sur toutes les balades “la Provence à Vélo”. Il est conseillé d’emporter un petit kit de réparation lors de votre excursion.

Sécurité : Sur les itinéraires, partagez la route avec les autres usagers et respectez le code de la route. Adaptez votre comportement aux conditions de circulation et maintenez un espace de sécurité avec le cycliste qui vous précède. Soyez assurés et renseignez-vous sur les procédures d’appel des secours en cas d’accident corporel avant votre départ.

Environnement : Préservons la nature et respectons les produits agricoles.

Finding your way: Follow the cycle road signs. In case of any doubts about the itinerary, follow the main road, or go on straight.

Equipment : a hybrid bike and a helmet are mandatory for all the cycling trips in Provence. It is recommended to bring a repair bicycle kit with you.

Safety : On the itineraries, share the road with other users and respect the traffic regulations. Adapt your cycling behavior to the traffic conditions and keep safe distance between you bicycle and other cyclists. Before departure, make sure you subscribe insurance and you are advised on the procedure to call for help in the event of an accident.
