under the

adventure pillar of

Round Square on

the 25th of January

2017. The students

had an enthralling

and everlasting

experience in the

lap of nature as

they climbed the

mountains,

witnessed the

beauty of the

palace, lake and

the wilderness

around.

The students of Class VII indulged into various adventurous activities to experience the

Adventure Pillar under Round Square. All the students exhibited immense zeal as they

participated to revive fun filled traditional Indian games.

The students of Class XII got an opportunity to explore and gain information about building a

career in highly honoured Indian Air Force. The counselling session apprised the young

aspirants about the technical & non-technical jobs, various branches and career prospects in

the Air Force.

WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERSWORKSHOP FOR TEACHERSWORKSHOP FOR TEACHERSWORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS A two days’ Capacity Building workshop was conducted by CBSE for the Mathematic teachers

on the 21st & 22nd of January 2017 at Rajmata, Jodhpur. The workshop attended by 30

different school mathematic teachers, aimed to equip the teachers with the latest and best

methodologies which would help the educators in rendering practical and effective learning.

Ignited minds workshop was held for the students on the 28th of January 2017. The workshop

aimed at learning by fun. The students were edified about astronomy, electrical machines,

sundial, phases of moon etc through fun filled activities.

Students of Class V meticulously used their linguistic skills, imagination and creativity to design

and create impressive Menu Cards of various healthy dishes as a group activity.

A Quiz ‘ Shakespeare Lives’ was held for the students of Class IX based on the life and work of

the great the laureate Shakespeare. All the students showed keen interest in answering the

questions related to his life and his unforgettable work.

The RKK family was honoured and extremely exultant to have Ms Sangeeta Chima one of the

revered Principal of Rajmata, at RKK. Her presence at RKK acted as a blessing for the students

and the staff members.

The 20th of January 2017 RKK family bid farewell to the batch of 2016-17. The divas dazzled as

they were conferred with titles like: Miss Science, Miss Humanities, Miss Commerce, Miss

Crowning Glory, Miss Perfect Ten etc. The students of Class XI presented mesmerizing dances

and songs and bid farewell to their seniors. The Principal Ms. Neera Singh words of sagacity

acted as an inspiration for all the students.

Round Square Conference based on ‘Leadership Pillar’ was organised by Yadvindra Public

School, Patiala between 20th to 22nd December 2016. Student delegates from RKK who

became a part of the learning through experience were Aastha Vyas, Shubhangi Jain, Purva

Khatri, Ishita Gandhi, Chestha Bishnoi and Lakshita Singh.

As the Round Square celebrated the 50th Anniversary, Vidya Devi Jindal School, Hisar held

the Service Pillar from 25th to 30th December 2016. Zeenat Kamdar, Swaroop Kanwar,

Nandini Sodha, Khushi Choudhary, Trisha Singhvi, Anushree Sinha and Vaniza Dolwani of

RKK became the part of the Service project. The delegates experienced wide variety of

challenging activities like concrete mixing, visit to an orphanage, cleanliness drive during

their stay.

Round Square Annual Meeting was held at The Emerald Heights International School,

Indore from 5th to 8th January 2017. The Regional Meet was attended by the Principal Ms.

Neera Singh and Ms. Sapna Gupta. The meet focused on diversity in education, overall

development, importance of inculcating sensitivity towards all and enhancing democratic

and leadership qualities in children.

The Mayo College and Mayo College Girls’ School Ajmer organized the Round Square

International Conference from 8th to 14th January 2017. RKK’s representation comprised

Sanghmitra Maheshwari, Urvi Pratap Singh, Yagya Bhalla, Ayushi Malani, Niharika Singhvi,

Vanshika Sachdeva. Each delegate associated with the theme ‘Making Every Drop Count’.

The aim of water conservation and creating awareness towards such sensitive issues was

the focus of the conference.

The Lit. Fest was held at RKK from 17th to 19th December 2016. ‘The Lit Wingding… A

Celebration’ was dedicated to the rationalist writers who were silenced by history because

their ‘pen spoke’. 14 elite schools became the part of the celebration, the fest catered to

the needs of the laureates who created poetry, enacted monologues from the

Mahabharata & Shakespeare’s play, displayed rhetoric through humorous poetries in

Hindi, participated in Literary Quiz and fun games too. The IPSC Lit. Fest 2016 trophy was

lifted by Rajmata Krishna Kumari Girls’ Public School, Jodhpur followed by the 1st Runner

up team, The Emerald Heights, Indore and L.K. Singhania Education Centre, Gotan secured

the 2nd Runner Up position.

IPSC Service Project was held at Miles Bronson Residential School, Borjhar, Guwahati,

Assam from the 19th to 24th December 2016. Team RKK comprised Nehal Rawka, Komal

Soni, Shivranjani Sodha, Pragya Kochar, Sneha Jain, Niharika Shekhawat & Sofiya Jakhar.

The project kept the participants engrossed in different social activities. The students

experienced and learnt the relevance of service to others.

CBSE Athletic Meet was held at Urmi School Sama, Vadodara from 26th to 30th December

2016. Hemantika Rajawat participated in Javelin Throw & Poorvie Choudhary made it till

the semi-finals in 200 & 400 Metres. Both the participants left a mark by their exemplary

performance.

their zealous participation.
