    EFFECTIVENESS

Projects being run in the community are

effective due to the participatory approach.

This involves the beneficiaries (women, men

and youth) in planning, development andimplementation of the projects. This ensures

    ownership and sustainability. Monitoring and

accountability are also ensured to involvement

    of local leaders. PR

    LESSONS LEARNED

The main lesson learnt from these activities is

the involvement of beneficiaries in planning

and implementation of projects in the

community as well as involvement of localleaders. Programs are more effective and

owned by the community which in turn enables

them to be issue based and long term

    sustainability.
