ALL-SEASON UTILITARIAN BICYCLE Develop a bike with Nike branding and lifestyle answering to the all-season biking restrictions

This project required a full-study of Nike branding, moodboards, user behaviour studies, ideation and presentations in front of industry representatives.

This solution especially touched upon user posture between winter and summer. An inverted handlebar offer the speed and agility of a road bike in the summer, and safety and stability of a cruiser in the winter

TEXTILES REFERENCE FORMSCreate a comprehensive, concise information sheet for various textiles used in the industry.

The challenge was to create a multifaceted comparative table without compromising the richness of the information.

The solution was to color-code pertinent information to quickly select and triage the appropriate textiles for the given requirements on one side, as well as offer insight on a variety of applications, processes and production specifications on the back.

INDUSTRIAL-PROCESSED REUSABLE SKETCHBOOK5 weeks to develop a fully industrialisable product with 12 exact copies to sell at an exhbition.

A very exciting team (3) project , acolyte is a rechargeable notebook made from one single piece of laser-cut wood. My role was to assure the viability of the product and optimize everything from it’s production, sizes, required materials and human-product interactions.

Left-top: warm-up exercices, hand drawn in less than 1 minute

Left-center: Pen on mayfair stock, rapid sketch of a romantic landscape, done in less than 5 minutes

Left-bottom: Oil on canvas, painted from observation in 2 hours

Right-top: Black colerase, detail of ideation for a permanent bike satchel, 8.5x11 done in less than 45 mintutes

Right-bottom: Watercolor sketch from observation at the Montréal Insectarium, done in 1 hour.

Une expérience ludique, Bouffe & Balançoires s ’ inspire de l ’enfance af in de rappeler les sens de moments magiques. Joignez vos amis autour des comptoir-bar sort is tout droit de votre imaginat ion : vous vivrez des épopées dans les cabanes dans les arbres comme lorsque vous ét iez enfant!

CURRENTLY...Currently I’m working on a variety of very exciting projects and contests. I work as a bed and patient flow manager 15-25 hours a week at the Ottawa Hospital.

Outside of school, I’ve most recently completed the LEXUS design competition, the StoraEnso packaging contest and an in-house charrette for Bouffe Magazine. I try to read at least 3 books a week on strategic, graphic and materials design as well as methodology, leadership, choice architecture and team building.
