In true Dolphins style, guests were wel- comed by Dolphins CEO Mike Dee and staff, individual photo-ops were taken next to Super Bowl trophies on their way in, and all attendees had their names prominently fea- tured on their very own locker for the after- noon. Networking, lunch and football were the talk of the day. Once guests were settled into their locker seats, Dolphins CEO Mike Dee explained “We’ve been out in the community and have received a lot of positive feedback based on the financial commitment we’re willing to make. Dolphin’s owner Steve Ross has pledged to privately fund the majority of the construction cost to modernize the stadium, ultimately placing no increase on taxes of Miami-Dade residents and with Super Bowl 50, BCS Championships and international soccer on the line, we believe that this invest- ment will be a winning proposition for the community in terms of the economic impact generated by blockbuster events.” “The creation of corresponding jobs com- ing from Super Bowl 50, subsequent Super Bowls, international soccer events, college championships, as well as other big events, we believe makes this referendum sensible and necessary. We want to be sure that every- body understands the economic develop- ment and activity that’s on the line, as well as the quantifiable return on investment we’re offering Miami- Dade County. We are confident that the vot- ers of Miami-Dade will make the right de- cision for the future of our community.” Miami is going up against San Francisco and the new stadium being built in Santa Clara for the right to host Super Bowl 50, which also falls on the 50th anniversary of the Dolphins. Whichever team does not land that historic Super Bowl will immediately compete with Houston for the right to host Super Bowl 51 and that also will be voted on in Boston on May 22nd. Venir à Regnéville-sur-mer
Dans le bourg, le château médiéval...Bâti au XIVe siècle « les pieds dans l’eau » pour défendre le port d’échouage de Regnéville, cette forteresse est actuellement en cours de restauration.Un parcours d’interprétation, qui emprunte le chemin des anciennes douves, vous tpermet de découvrir l’histoire tumultueuse du château pendant la guerre de Cent Ans, ainsi que son architecture. L’accès est libre et gratuit.
En saison, des expositions patrimoniales sont présentées dans la grande salle de l’aile nord.

In the Middle Ages, Regnéville was a major port of cabotage linking Gascony to the main
ports of England. From the 19th century, the local limestone is extracted and either exported towards the north coast of Britanny or turned into quicklime in the kilns of Regnéville and Montmartin. During this period, coal is imported from Wales to feed the kilns.
The history of the port of Regnéville is explained in the maritime museum, next to the unique site of disused lime kilns. During the summer days, you can try your hand at preparing limewash or creating frescoes while, in the evening, you will return to the same site to enjoy ballet, a play, a circus or a concert.

«Une journée de chaufournier»Parcours de découverte sonore et insoliteLes bâtiments industriels exceptionnels des fours à chaux du Rey se découvrent désormais grâce à un parcours sonore permettant d’imaginer l’intense activité de ce site, il y a un siècle et demi.
Cette architecture monumentale était avant tout une «machine» dans laquelle, au cours de la deuxième moitié du XIXe siècle, de nombreux personnages ont travaillé et se sont croisés : chaufourniers, carriers, ouvriers, clients, rouliers...Grâce à l’écoute et la perception du lieu, le visiteur est guidé tout au long du parcours par des voix, des ambiances sonores et des images... De la carrière aux fours à chaux, de la matière première au produit ni.
Le port de cabotage de Regnéville était, au Moyen-âge, une escale entre la Guyenne (la Gascogne) et les ports anglais. Mais, depuis très longtemps, le port exporte aussi de la pierre à chaux vers une côte nord de la Bretagne dépourvue de ressources calcaires.C’est cette histoire que présente le musée de Regnéville implanté sur un exceptionnel ensemble de fours à chaux.
Dans le musée...Découvrez la grande aventure de la chaux : les différentes techniques de production et les utilisations anciennes et modernes de ce matériau aux usages multiples.Imprégnez-vous du riche passé maritime de Regnéville : dès le Moyen-âge, le commerce y est dense grâce à la foire médiévale fondée par Jean-sans-Terre.Maquettes, objets de navigation, épave, gréement, ateliers reconstitués permettent de découvrir l’univers maritime d’un village portuaire dans le havre duquel naviguaient autrefois sloops, brick et goélettes.
Des animations et des spectaclesTout au long de la saison, des animations diverses sont proposées : démonstrations de fabrication de la chaux, ateliers de fresque, de sculpture, ateliers pour les enfants…En été, le cadre monumental des fours est un lieu privilégié pour les spectacles vivants…
