Mouloud Mammeri University of Tizi -Ouzou (UMMTO, Algeria) , founded in 1977, is a multi -disciplinary higher education institution which hosts more than 60.000 students, distributed among 09 faculties comprising a number of departments each. The departments provide disciplinary and, sometimes, cross-disciplinary courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students. UMMTO ranks among the best universit ies in Algeria and is looking forward to implement a policy which wil l increase the international visibi l ity of the research and teachings performed by the highly qualif ied professors in al l disciplines.
