    3. Why should people vote for you? What separates you from your opponent(s)? I have a consistent record of working effectively with a variety of groups and individuals. My business and volunteer leadership experiences are strong assets. People may not always agree with my decisions, but I am willing and able to listen and take othersviewpoints into consideration in coming to common ground to help move good ideas

    forward. My experience and relationships would be the advantage in helping our stateand community.

    4. What are the three most important issues you would address if elected? How? (75 words for eachissue)

    A. Continue to promote private sector job bills. Last session we had seven bills that would create 50,000 jobs over five years. Provide continued leadership to try and removeobstacles and provide certainty for business growth.

    10. Who is your role model for this office the person/people you would most like to emulate?Former House Speaker Larry Campbell and my long time mentor and business partnerKeith Andler.

    11. Any skeletons in your closet or other potentially embarrassing information that you want to

    disclose before it comes up in the campaign? Nothing that hasnt been already been exposed.

    12. As a public official, your views on public issues are relevant to voters and potentialconstituents. Please indicate whether you support or oppose each of these statewide measures onthe Nov. 6 ballot. (This question does not apply to judicial candidates.)

    Measure 81, gillnetting ban No**The governor has directed the implementation of Senator Girods concept legislationand if that it is put into action it would supersede M81. I am supportive of a practicalsolution.

    Measure 85 shifts corporate kicker to K-12 schools No****But I would support the measure if it put it into an education stability fund or generalrainy day fund. In the 2007 session I voted to suspend the Corporate Kicker and put it inthe rainy day fund.
