IntroductionThe teacher picked this country for me because I never had been there and I didn’t know about it. First this was hard, but then I focused and I got a lot of things done . For example the capitol of Jordan is Amman.
GEOGRAPHY
Surrounding Jordan are the following countries, Saudi
Arabia on the south and southeast, Israel on the
west, Syria on the north, and Iraq on north east.
Jordan is a desert and is a mountainous land
CLIMATEThe weather is hot in May and October and it’s cold in April and November. In
summer temperatures average about 36 F 30 C.
Most of the time in summer people
hallucinate and get dizzy and thirsty.
CultureThere are 4 main cities: Zarqa, Irbid, Ma’an and Madaba. The flag has a
black stripe, a white stripe and a green stripe and it has a red triangle and a
white languages are English and Arabic. There
is a celebration called Ramadan . They don’t eat anything until sun down.
ECONOMYJordan lost the west bank
to Israel. Jordan can’t export crops because
Jordan has a dry land. So instead they import crop s
and water. Jordan mostly export basketball shoes.
INTERESTING FACTSDid you know that the queen
of Jordan is American ? Did you know that the king had a part in startrek? There is a temple
in in the city of Petra Jordan that has gold coins in it. Did
you know that the city of Petra was abandoned in 1189?
CONCLUSIONJordan is a nice country. I
learned a lot from my country like, I did not
know there are temples and gold coins in it, also I
did not know Jordan used to be part of Palestine .I
hope one day to go there.
