This wall is around 25 feet high and 15 feet in width. After it walking for anotherhalf a mile second gate known as Dhruv Pole comes. This obstacle was also

peculiar from defense point of view. Without winning this post , entry into thefort was negligible.

Third gate is called Chand Pole which is more grand, strong and beautiful fromothers. From here onwards the rampart that runs along the way on both sides isdivided into many parts and conceals within it rounded surface of mountain andthen expands. The place between third & fourth gates, Fourth gate is called SirePole. One part of the rampart before reaching there takes a left turn upwards and

Rathores descendants of Rao Maldev IInd son Ratan Ji. This Ratan Jis stoneinscription could be seen today also near Neelkanth villages famous temple oflord Shiva..

27 villages were under this jagir with an annual income of 31,850 Rs. In whole of

In the court of Maharaja of Jodhpur right side was occupied by champawat &Kupawat Rajputs and Jodha,Motiya and Udawat sat on the left side of Maharaja.Landlords of Pokhram, Auhua and Aasop sat on the right side of Maharaja. Whoso ever came first took the highest seat early comes amountReiyas,Raipurs,Roas, Neemrajs and Khervaj landlords took seat on the leftside. Whenever the above mentioned landlords were absent Thakur ofAlliniyavas and took seat first on the left & then right side as necessary.

Rao Jodha started the tradition of sitting right or left in his court. On his rightside he gave place to his brothers and to sons on the left. For this reasonlandlords who were descendants of brothers of Rao Jodha were seated right andlandlords of Jodhas sons descendants to the left. Thats why Raja ofBhadrajun sat on right side of Maharaja. Afterwards Raja Suraj Singh changedranks according to Mughal rulers and introduced Tajim system for landlords.Pokhran had 100 villages and Raipur 37 villages only these two had morevillages than Bhadrajun. But though having less villages than Bhadrajun Jagirsof Aadop,Reiya,Neemraj and Raos had more annual income.

The fort of Bhadrajun was under its landlord which was built on mountain top. Itis small but strong mountain fort. Present descendants of Bhadrajauns LandlordRaja Gopal Singh also remained speaker of Rajasthan Assembly in 1977. The news spreaded like wild fire. People visited in large quantities to saw shivlinga. Then A huge temple was built on that place by peoples co-operationlabour & money spent for several years temples of various gods & goddesseswere also built around Shiv temple. One water reservoir was also built. For this

reason only the place come to be known as Shiv Vaada or Shivala that in presentday changed to Sevada.

Mohammad Gazni, Mohammad Ghori, Alaudin Khilji and Palanpurs Nawabdestroyed this temple tremendously while raiding Somnath temple and it wasrepaired so many times. Thirteenth Century inscription is still present in thetemple premise mentioning repair of temple. The roof top is absent now and thewhole temple seems destroyed from above. It seems that the green trees ofreligion, faith & culture had been cut into pieces. In the whole temple complexold artistic pillars, idols, small temples could be seen broken. During Shravan

month every day scenes of fair are visible. On Shivratri and every Mondayvillagers from nearby come here for prayer.

    Jagnath Mahadev

Jagnath Mahadev is one of the two temples built by Rudal Devi, situated 20 Kmaway by road and 35 Km. by newly built paver road from Jalore. It was foundunderneath a mound some years before when one new temple was already builtsome distance away. This temple is called Juna Mandir(Old Temple). Theancient temple is the one possibly constructed by Rudal Devi. During Khiljis &

Pathans rulers this temple probably went uncared about and got buried undersand. New Shiva temple was established nearby. It is also possible that thistemple was destroyed by attackers. Whatever might be the reason broken stoneinscription in temple complex testifies to the fact that it was built here by RudalDevi. Repairing of the temple again & again have left many stone & pillarinscriptions destroyed. Only those pillars are safe on whom idols were presentthinking it to be sacred. Some pillars are used in construction in such a way thatthe written part is buried. Luckily one stone inscription of Rudal Devi is still safefrom which the original situation is known.

1264 Vikram Samvats one stone inscription is fitted in rostrum whose only onehalf part is readable rest remain buried. It is felt from idols that this inscription isof Rudal Devi but not of the time of establishment and felt that in 1264 VikaramSamvat or 1207 A.D. Rudal Devi prayed here. The ancient stone pillars of 800-700 years old of immense historical sense. These must be protected before timeruns away. They ascertain many important dates.Neelkanth Mahadev

away. Alauddin Khilji then prayed mercy from Shiva and promised to build agrand temple at the place. His prayer was listened and Alauddin kept his promiseconstructing a western faced mosque structured temple. Facts prove that onAlauddins Jalore expedition firstly he had to attack Siwana to gain his mainmotive from Delhi to Siwana Khiljis army must have passed through this road.Black bees were found in huge quantities before some years here. Today also thetemple is west faced and in mosques shape. Half Shivling is black and half isyellow coloured showing that it was tried to be broken into pieces.

This temple might have been repaired so many times because in temple complex

there are so many broken idols of gods & goddesses and pillars & stoneinscriptions could be found lying. One stone inscription dates 1853 Samvat and1796 A.D. mentions about Jodha Ratan Singh. During rainy season & Shivratridevotees sets here in great numbers.
