The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is pleased to announce the following new official appointments made by the Board of Directors of this Bank, effective September 1, 1957.

Wilbur II. Isbell, Cashier of the Memphis Branch, has been appointed Assist­ant Chief Examiner. Following several years of commercial banking experience, he joined the Examination Department of this Bank in 1943 and served in various examination capacities until his transfer to the Memphis Branch as Assistant M a n ­ager in August 1954. Mr. Isbell is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking, Rutgers University.

E. Francis DeVos has been appointed to succeed Mr. Isbell as Cashier at the Memphis Branch. Mr. DeVos has served the Bank since 1920 in various capacities and has been Manager of the Credit-Discount Department at St. Louis since Jan­uary 1954. He is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.
