AVANT-PROPOS

Le Département de génie chimique de l’Université Laval supporte trois programmes universitaires : le

baccalauréat, la maîtrise avec mémoire et le doctorat en génie chimique. Ce rapport fait état de nos

activités d’enseignement et de recherche pour la période du 1er septembre 2013 au 31 août 2014.

Cette période a été marquée par 1) le passage de la barre des 125 étudiants inscrits à notre

programme de 1er cycle, 2) la participation pour la première fois d'une équipe de nos étudiants du

baccalauréat à la compétition Chem-E-Car de l'AIChE et 3) le départ à la retraite du professeur

Bernard Grandjean en août 2014. Nous lui souhaitons tous une excellente retraite et un grand merci

pour son importante contribution au développement de notre département.

Je profite aussi de l’occasion pour remercier chaleureusement tous les membres du département :

professeurs, employés, chercheurs, étudiants de tous les cycles d'étude qui ont ainsi contribué à la

qualité de notre enseignement, de notre recherche et au rayonnement de notre institution.
