All that was missing was a platform to give small businesses access to the relevant mobile banner inventory for them. That’s how the idea of mobalo was born. mobalo is digital bait. Advanced Navigation Solutions - ANAVS, based in Gilching and Munich, Germany, is a leading company in the research and development of future navigation systems. The core competences of Advanced Navigation Solutions – ANAVS include the kinematic calibration of GPS carrier phase measurements, the resolution of the carrier phase integer ambiguities, and precise carrier phase positioning.

The founders of ANAVS have published their algorithms in more than 10 patents and 50 publications in well-known journals and conference proceedings. SATOP uses satellite sensor data to provide various groups of clients with fully automated, near real-time environmental geo-services. Its core strategy is the worldwide integration of commercial software processors with the ground segments and data archives of satellite data providers, in order to facilitate the creation of cutting-edge map products. These products are marketed by a worldwide network of service providers.

The initial product series comprises up-to-date water quality maps of coastal areas and inland waters. Products include quantitative measures of turbidity, total suspended matter, phytoplankton, or yellow substance concentrations, which are all delivered only a few hours after satellite capture time.

Products are delivered to the clients as digital geo-referenced maps by automated email, or via FTP and web-portals. They are supplemented with standardised meta data and provide quality measures for each pixel.
