Letter from the Editors.

Dear Sirs and Madams, Welcome again to our sixth edition of our Culture Agenda. This month there are several religious festivities (about Saints and Virgins). There are many gastronomic fairs too, where you can have a little taste of the most popu-lar meals around the Ebro Delta. Summer begins this month and the weather is getting hotter, soon you can go sunbathing on our beaches. We hope you’ll enjoy these festivities and keep reading our Cultural Agenda. Alcanar 24th Saint John’s Eve. The citizens, especially the youth, partici pate in the festival including the traditional bonfires of Saint John and a tasting session of the Saint John cake. The night will end with a dance accompanied by an orchestra.

29th Saint Pere Festivities. A maritime procession in boats and other liturgical events, to give homage to Saint Pere, patron of fishermen.
