The product is used to inject Powerline signals into upwards of 11 electrical connections, from one Powerline master device. All circuits t h e n become one common Powerline network for data, VoIP, or IP Video conferencing. The Corinex 11+1 phase coupler is typically used in Multi-Dwelling Units that have multiple electric meters connected to individual premises; each of the outputs on the device is connected to the load side of the meter, effectively bypassing the meter and thus avoiding signal attenuation issues from trying to channel the Powerline signal through the meter. The coupler can also be installed at substations for AMI/BPL deployments to connect to multiple feeders/lines. The phase coupler has a coaxial input for compatibility with the Corinex CableLAN adapter. The Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) in each of the individual premises would be the Corinex AV200 Powerline adapters in either desktop or Wall Mount versions. The bandwidth from the coaxial port (connected to the master or Head-End) is shared between each of the CPE devices in the individual premises. Standard installation of the 11+1 p h a s e coupler fi r s t requires the connection of the supplied power cord o n o n e e n d to the electrical circuit on the load side of the meter (one clamp goes to phase, the other clamp to neutral line), followed by insertion of the o p p o s i t e power cord end to one of the outlets on the coupler. The same procedure can be repeated for remaining phases/line segments, for a maximum total of 11 connected segments. Corinex 11+1 Phase Coupler

Introduction

The Corinex 11+1 phase coupler is a passive electronic device that connects multiple electrical circuits in the 2-34 MHz frequency band.

Standard installation of the 11+1 p h a s e coupler r s t

requires the connection of the supplied power cord o n

o n e e n d to the electrical circuit on the load side of the

meter (one clamp goes to phase, the other clamp to

neutral line), followed by insertion of the oppos i te power

cord end to one of the outlets on the coupler. The same

procedure can be repeated for remaining phases/line

segments, for a maximum total of 11 connected segments.
