    Applications are invited for the post of Assistant Statistician in the Department of Statistics. The post which is a pensionable one is in the salary scale £ P . 3 0 0 x 12— (360) x 12— (420) x 15—480 x 20—500. The bracketed figures indicate efficiency bars. The duties of the holder of the post will be the conducting of re-search into population problems for the pur-pose of census; the training and supervision of field staff; assisting in the analysis and the presentation of data. Candidates must have had university training in mathematics and statistics; should possess a knowledge of demo-graphic methods and have had demographic experience under a government or research in-stitution.

    Notices of registration of Companies, Cooperative Societies, Trade Marks and Patents w i l l not be accepted . for publication unless submitted through the appropriate Registrar.

    Orders with regard to the administration of the estate of deceased persons or probate of wi l l s , and any orders'-issued under the Companies Ordinance, or i n accordance with any other Ordinance or Order of the Court, and notices of registration and dissolution of partnerships w i l l not be inserted unless passed for publication by the

    ' Court or Registrar.

    Notices of- dissolution of partnerships wi l l not be accepted unless signed by the partners named therein or by their legal representatives.

    The signature or representative character of a signa-| tory must be verified by a declaration made by an i advocate.

    A notice of dissolution of partnership not signed by al l the partners or by their legal representatives must be accompanied by a sworn declaration made •by an advocate to the effect that the notice is given i n pur-suance of the terms of the partnership to which it
